I'll lead off with this: I cannot comment on premade pieces, even though they look nice--for my entire experience with Krombholz Jewelers has been in the custom-made sector. So if you're looking for the premade experience, this probably won't be the review for you.

In my case, I sat down with my girlfriend about a year ago and asked her--what would she want in an engagment ring? She'd already mentioned amethyst, but I wanted to know so I'd get things right. We talked, I sketched something based on her requirements, and did research.

Krombholz, for the work I wanted done, seemed like the right choice after reading some mentions of their usage of CAD and 3D printing and great consultation with the client along the way. So I went there.

I took my sketch in, they made some recommendations of size as well as had a huge amount of typical ring-shapes that could be modified for such a design, and after a couple of modifications (I initially had a tighter/smaller Celtic weave design, but went with a sturdier one, primarily) we had a plan.

It is with great pleasure that I share my experience regarding Krombholz Jewelers. I had 2 pieces of jewelry made for me by Krombholz. The first one was to redesign a diamond necklace that was my Mothers. Of course this meant a great deal to me and I wanted it to be special to honor my Mother. They were able to use the gold from the old necklace and work with me on the design chosen. It turned out wonderfully and I wear it everyday and will treasure forever.

My second piece, is a designed gold diamond and sapphire bracelet. I had diamonds and sapphires from rings I no longer wear. Working with Lee and Anita creating the bracelet I wanted was easy, helpful and ultimately the finished piece is beautiful!

I highly recommend Krombholz for any jewelry creations you may want.

The work Lee did was outstanding and Anita made sure of getting the appraisal done immediately.
