Kotsovos you need to do better! This past Saturday I brought my daughter into your store to look for a Homecoming dress and she was so excited! She follows you on instagram and sees that you do have models who are plus size and just knew you could find a dress for her! But this was not the experience we had! We came in later Saturday afternoon you were not busy, you had her fill out a form and then asked an associate who was already working with another girl if she could help my daughter. There were 2 older ladies without guest( who looked liked mgrs.) who I thought could work with my daughter, but instead they assigned her to the younger associate who was already in the midst of helping another guest. She did explain the color set up at the store and then told my daughter to look. My daughter showed her a dress on Instagram that she liked and said she would like to try that one on, the girl proceeded to look for the dress but never came back to my daughter and then pulled one dress that could’ve worked for her. I believe the other two ladies could’ve helped pull sizes that they knew my daughter could wear, but there was no help or they could i’ve pulled inventory that they knew they had instead my daughter went in with two sizes that were not her size and no help my daughter left in tears. This was her dream store to come to, but instead, my daughter left like pretty woman did in the movie without any help. I believe you should make all customers feel special and know your inventory and direct them to what you do have available versus what you don’t have available especially for girls who are challenged in certain sizes you would make tons more money and make girls feel beautiful. unfortunately I will be telling everyone in the future that I know do not shop Kostovos even if you’re willing to...
Read moreTerrible experience buyer beware. I hadn’t the first clue what to wear for my daughters 4th of July, afternoon, outdoor 90° outside wedding. I only had one week left to find something and called around everywhere and they pointed me to Kotsovos. I walked in the store and the girls pointed me upstairs. When I got up there I explained my situation to the woman and she snarled when I told her the brides maids were wearing red and it was a two color event. Focused on my mission to find a beautiful dress she handed me 3 gowns only one fit. She was so pushy and made me feel like she’d sell it out of spite as she hung it up right in the front of the store and walked away. Being it was the only one that fit I made the decision to pay for it thinking I could change my mind and return it if I found something better. It had a pull so she had to get it sewed. I was sick to my stomach and nearly threw up when I left. I had to put half on my credit card and half on my debit card. I called my friend crying and she called to find out theres a no return policy, which that lady DID NOT MENTION!! I called and asked to speak to the manager and little did I know that that woman was the manager. I hadn’t taken the dress yet from the store and told her as I was crying my eyes out I didn’t think this was the gown that I should wear to an afternoon wedding outside. I went to Dillards the next day and thank God Jamie that works at Dillards explained to me that an outdoor event needs a shorter style dress and a gown was meant for after 6 PM. Thank God for a Department store worker who new this. Read moreKotsovos was my first stop when I was picking my wedding dress. I made an appointment, and went in with my mom and two of my bridesmaids. Anna was my bridal consultant, and she was wonderful! She listened to everything I was looking for, helped me find dresses that fit my description, and of course let my group and I pick some out too! After trying on only five (all beautiful) dresses, we decided on a stunning lace gown with an open back. I felt like there was something missing, so Anna suggested a belt. She helped me find the perfect ribbon to add to the dress as a mock belt, and it MADE the dress!
When my dress came in a few months later, I met with Jo in alterations. I can’t say enough good things about Jo. I ended up meeting with her a few times, because she wanted to make sure my gown was exactly what I wanted. She listened to all of the changes I wanted to make, including adding a vanity panel to the chest, and the ribbon belt. When she was done, you would have never known the dress didn’t come that way! After my second appointment where she showed me the bustle, I went home and realized I actually wanted a different style. I freaked out for a moment and called Jo back. She told me to come back and we would make it perfect. I truly appreciated the genuine care she showed.
Overall, my experience was wonderful. Everyone I interacted with made sure I was happy and satisfied. My dress was everything I could have asked for and more!
