Many of the businesses were closed due to the terrible flooding earlier in the year, but a few were still open and the others were being refurbished. Once the businesses are reopened it would be a great place to walk around with several restaurants and specialty shops to visit. We're definitely going to return to Montpelier when they're back to full strength. Vermont strong!

Montpeliers city center is a nice hub of business for the downtown area. Restaurants like the Skinny Pancake and La Brioche are a nice place to sit doen for a meal, or a cup of coffee, and other inhabitants like ORCA media, and the AT&T store create a nice eclectic vibe. The real draw for me is when the space is used for more community focused events, like when the farmers market is held there over the winter, or when Santa comes to visit and the NECI students at La Brioche help kids make...

You say this is a shopping mall. Pshaw there's practically one store. If at&t is your go to for everything then this is a perfect fit for you. I guess it's nice to hang out there with some friends but you have to be quiet and not spill your snacks on the ground if u don't want to...
