Asked for them to use cotton and foil to soak off rather than dipping my fingers into the bowl as it has caused extreme chapping and burning the two times I had done it in the past. My skin is extremely sensitive from having to wash them so much at my jobs. I had to listen to her lecture me over and over on how it’s the same . I stayed polite and explained most try to keep it mostly on the nail and it never seems to take that long. I sat there with it on for thirty minutes as if I was being punished . I asked several times if she could add a slight dip of glitter on the last coat on my ring finger to give it a pop…. Something I’ve done over and over for years at other salons. Once again … you would have thought I was asking them to donate a kidney. She even smirked and said yes! I thought she had forgotten bc she told me to wash my hands…. Then she brought some type of foil decals and I tried to explain politely again that wasn’t it. So she left me to go fold towels and eat. When they finally did it… it was so uneven and had no glitter on the outside of the nail. I didn’t care how much … just somewhat covering the nails evenly . After 2 hours … yes 2 miserable hours… I was ready to just leave. I hate to leave bad reviews and never do but this was a miserable experience I shouldn’t have tipped but tried to stay...
Read moreI went to this Salon for about 5yrs, then left after Ownership changed. I came back today, to find out the Ownership had changed yet again. When I called to make my appointment, I specifically asked for a Tech that was good with Curved Tips and Coffin Shape and was given a different name of a Tech, that I absolutely did not get. Not sure of the Techs name, but I think it started with a "J". She did the Acrylic application fine, but then proceeded to file my Nails Crooked and left my sidewalls jagged and uneven. I can be quite picky with my Nails and in my experience Most Nail Techs don't like when you know about the mechanics of Nail Enhancements. They also don't like when you don't get Polish (I paint my Nails myself). I am a person who HATES confrontation and just smiled when asked if I liked them and paid the price that should have been lower since I DID NOT get Polish of any kind. Maybe it was just me and the fact that I'm very particular and fussy about my Nails but it still doesn't excuse the subpar job done on my Nails! Thankfully I know how to file and hopefully can save a $65 Full Set of Acrylic Nails, so I don't have to spend another 3/4 hours soaking off a brand new set. I will not be returning...
Read moreI'd love to review this business & their services however, I can't because after 30 minutes of waiting, even though I had an appointment, I left. I called the day before to make an appointment because I know Saturdays are often busy at most nail salons. I arrived early as this would be my first time at this place. I was greeted, checked in and instructed on where to sit. After 10 minutes someone brought me a book to select my SNS color. I wasn't impressed with the number of options but I will say there was a good variety in color options for the limited selection. After about 20 minutes the employees were finishing up services on customers and I thought someone might be coming to start my nails... nope. They were just getting started on other customers. I understand being busy but no one communicated how behind they were running and just let me sit there. After 30 minutes I got up and let one of the employees know I was leaving. I made an appointment because I have other plans today. Clearly my time (and money) wasn't important to them. Only reason I didn't do 1 star is because all of the staff...
