As a former employee I'll give a brief of the dynamics in this Taco Bell that contribute to the poor and further degrading service. Money wise like any other business with levels of management, employees are being majorly extorted and capitalized off of to the point where every shift has about a billion problems that just recycle to the next shift, next week, next month, and next year. For some reason last year, management thought it was fit to increase the closing time by 4 hours (meaning a whole third shift should have been constructed before the hours changes) while wages stayed the same. We were rehabilitating in a way were we could handle the first hour difference (9pm), the next hour increase we were hanging in their with averagely 3-4 employees that could cognitively get work and prep done while the store was opened. It jumped from "closing 10pm" to "closing 12pm", mind you after the store is closed and depending on how busy the store was (with increasing hours business was growing and getting very over whelming), you are still there 30-90 mins after business is closed. So employees are leaving until 1am-2am at this, most of the shift were students and adults with lives in general so from 10pm-11pm til closing and then cleaning, it would be two shift managers running the building while business would be SLAMMED. You could imagine the exhaustion and how it manifested into employees slacking in certain areas to recover in others, crazy amount of unfulfilled duties at the end of the night that could have been taken cared of if properly employed and prepared for the strain. Drive thru times became horrid, having drive thru and dining open while accepting mobile order and deliver can be extremely overwhelming to a under staffed situation... WITHOUT INCREASE OF PAY. Trust all this was voiced to management, but they made it clear to discuss such things was for one a nuisance to them, and for two just not apart of the goal they have for Taco Bell. This establishment is playing a game of "how much can we abuse while squeezing the dollar", some people had been there for years with the same wages. I was proposed a $0.34 raise the first time, I left not too long after that but TRUST it's so much I'm leaving out. One of the employers came from India years ago and started working there to hopefully build funds to get her degrees transferred, she was a scholar and had a doctorates level study of medicine. She never got the lift off she was hoping for here and suffered chronic injuries from working so hard with heavy things because management wasn't equipped and too impatient to train her anywhere else, for years. Do the employees a favor and stop coming to this store, a dent in the companies pocket is the alarm the employees need to set off and may the pyramid...
Read moreFirst I literally waited in the drive thru for 30 minutes because there was an argument between staff and another customer inside the young man at the window let me know once I eventually got to the window and the big white guy was on the phone at the window fussing and talking about what happened as well. I order a chicken power bowl no guacamole no sour cream no tomatoes (which they didn’t hear the tomatoes part but that’s ok) with and additional side of black beans, rice, and avocado ranch instead of making the order the way it was supposed to be they gave me everything on the side instead of in the bowl and just gave me lettuce and cheese and tomatoes in the bowl … why would you charge me for extra sides and then not provide them ?? How does that make sense. I got home and the order wasn’t correct so I drove back to the store and went inside where I had to wait another 10 mins before even being acknowledged by any staff member then the big white guy walks up and said yes. That’s it yes. I said well my order isn’t right and showed him the receipt and he said ooohh your the power bowl yeah we had questions about how you wanted it made. So if you had questions then why not just ask me when I got to the window vs just doing whatever you wanted and charging me but not giving me the correct stuff. He went to fix it but didn’t change his gloves or give any fresh product just used what I gave him back out of the bag and poured it in another bowl. This is my 2nd issue at this location and I will not be returning I am extremely unhappy there’s no excuse for laziness and carelessness no apology or nothing. This...
Read moreThis was our go to Taco Bell because we live so close by. I've been taking my reactive dog to this shopping area to get her comfortable being around more sounds and people. I don't take her there for her potty breaks, but she happened to poop on a grassy area near Taco Bell. I ran out of poop bags at the time so I panicked and looked around. Taco Bell drive thru was the closest establishment to me (none of the establishments there would allow a dog inside). I walked over to the car at the window to ask for a plastic bag. A lady appeared at the window in that moment, so I asked her if she minded giving us a plastic bag. Before I finished my sentence she started shaking her head and said "I ain't giving you a plastic bag through this window." To which I responded, I can't enter the store because I have a dog with me. She walked away. The man in his car was kind enough to ask the woman for a bag on my behalf since he was a paying customer. She refused to give him one too, to spite me.
I'm not upset that she refused to help. I'm upset that she was rude to a person earnestly asking for help. I ended up walking to other end of the shopping center where a kind stranger was able to spare us a plastic bag (right...
