Johnny's Garden Center — Local services in Mound

I can’t say enough good things about Johnny’s Garden Center. Every time I stop in, I’m impressed by how well-kept and thoughtfully arranged everything is—from the lush flowers and healthy plants to the beautiful seasonal displays. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and always willing to help without being pushy. You can tell they really care about what they do.

They also have a great selection—way more than you’d expect for a local garden center. Whether I’m looking for perennials, veggie starters, or just some cute decor for the yard, I always walk out with more than I planned (in the best way). Prices are fair and quality is excellent.

Johnny’s always has had what I’ve looked for and reassured me that even if he didn’t, he would find it! Luke and Randy spread the Christmas joy at Christmastime by helping out those without a tree and spread their smiles and joy any other time of the year as well- it’s hard to find anyone with that amount of generosity! The aura that this nursery has is nothing short of a homey mom-and-pop kind of energy that I can’t imagine them not making anyone feel welcome. I love Johnny's! It's nice to have a neighborhood greenhouse that is not corporate owned. The selection is always great, the staff is knowledgeable, and the new owner, Luke, is charming and helpful and happy and just an all around good guy.... Just ask anybody who knows him or his family. I always look forward to the spring so I can go get my herbs and flowers for the planters and oh my gosh, the tomatoes… And at the end of the season, the sales make it so you can fill any empty spots.
