Taste of Our Town Tours — Local services in Mount Dora

We recently moved to the nearby town of Tavares, but it was a visit to Mt Dora that made us fall in love with the area! It’s unique small town charm coupled with a bustling festival schedule won us over on our first visit.

During a recent visit to our new home from my wife’s mother, we searched for a a fun way to learn about what Mt Dora had to offer, and the restaurant tour with Jimberly and Toni was perfect! Jimberly is a chef in her own right, and selected a handful of great places to eat, drink and be merry. The food and wine selections were top shelf!

The personal touches combined with some interesting and occasionally funny historical information really add to the experience.

The tour can be visited multiple times, changing the venues up so that patrons get a broader experience of Mt Dora. And the price is so reasonable it’s like a week of fine dining and drinking for the price of a single night out!

If I could give Jimberly 100 stars I would. I don’t even know where to start to be honest we receive top-notch interactive experience. They know what they’re doing when they curate the experience for that day, every drink and food is specially chosen by the owner who is a chef, might I add! Everything you eat is going to be amazing no preservatives super fresh and on top of that the atmosphere from each place that we went to was awesome. Everyone is super friendly. And make sure you go hungry because if not, you won’t be able to enjoy everything. I still even had leftovers and I went starving.

I definitely would recommend for couples, to girls night out or even small family gathering ! It’s a must try if you never been on a food tour. Make this one your first time, I promise you won’t regret it!!!
