Cando Consultations LLC has had the pleasure of visiting NAR Cannabis (Natural Alleviating Remedies) during their soft opening on 4/4/25. Our observations indicate a warm and thoughtful approach to customer experience, and a promising foundation for what this dispensary may become.
Upon arrival, the property’s serene surroundings immediately stood out — especially the pond just outside, home to two peaceful geese. As we paused to take it in, it felt as though nature itself was offering us a moment of calm — gently alleviating the stress of the day, like a remedy in its own right. A fitting welcome from a place called Natural Alleviating Remedies.
Inside, we were welcomed by a security guard with a friendly attitude, setting the tone from the start. The General Manager, Sara, radiated warmth and confidence with her instant 3-second likeability. She welcomed us with genuine excitement and talked us through NAR’s mission and origin. Her passion was palpable, and it made us feel like part of something just beginning to bloom. The space itself felt clean, fresh, and modern-complemented by decorative greenery that added warmth and vitality. Out of respect for the dispensary’s upcoming grand opening, we won’t share all of the refreshing visual aesthetics just yet, but the design choices already signal intention and care.
Marlon, our budtender, was exceptionally welcoming. He began our conversation by asking a critical question in achieving customer satisfaction: “What are you looking to feel?” From there, he listened and demonstrated impressive product knowledge across 2 different cultivators including Agri-Kind and Garden Greens. His insight into these cultivators and the strains NAR carried showed depth and care in his role and in helping us find our ideal experience.
It’s clear that NAR is being built with care-both in aesthetic and intention. We’re looking forward to revisiting this location on its official opening day for their complete review and see them evolve into a great addition to the New Jersey community
Product & Strain Review: Sour Diesel by Agri-Kind (3.5g)
From the moment the bag was presented, the clean, polished black packaging paired with Agri-Kind’s bold, modern font created an immediate sense of quality and intention. Upon opening, we were impressed to discover a humidity control pack inside - a rare but thoughtful addition. This detail stood out as a customer-focused move, clearly anticipating the common issue of flower drying out and taking proactive steps to maintain product integrity and shelf life. It was a strong signal that Agri-Kind not only values the quality of their product but also respects the customer’s experience after purchase. This is a perfect example of absolute guest satisfaction.
Breaking the seal released a light, zesty aroma that teased the senses - bright, citrusy notes that hinted at the focus-driven effects ahead. The flower displayed a key lime-green hue, coated with a generous amount of visible trichomes, and offered that satisfying "snap" of freshness when handled.
This batch of Sour Diesel delivered swift cerebral effects, making it ideal for productivity. We tested its performance during administrative work and found our focus locked in. As cliché as it may sound, there was a moment where we genuinely “felt the silence” as we typed - a state of peaceful immersion where ambient sounds became gently magnified: the distant rhythm of a train, the quiet chirp of a fire alarm, the subtle stillness in the room. It was clarity without the rush, alertness without tension.
What was most compelling was that this strain transcended the standard labels. It was something more precise, more familiar to those who know: the one you might remember from long ago, now delivered with modern consistency and respect for tradition. This is not a sativa, indica, nor a hybrid. This is true Sour Diesel. Overall Strain...
Read morei struggle with social anxiety and it is very difficult for me to go out in public. walking into this NEW dispensary, (that i only found out about 3 months after opening) i was unfamiliar with the layout and staff/customers. however, i was welcomed warmly by Teresa. she enjoys her job working at a dispensary which is shockingly uncommon, she knows her products and most importantly she’s a good person. Teresa also told me about the deal NAR is currently having with their ounces. i did not plan on making a purchase today however, your employee convinced me to run to Wawa, withdrawal cash and run back to y’all. Teresa is a keeper!
i will be returning for the grand opening on July 28 solely because of all the staff there at NAR. and quite possibly make this my primary dispensary as a Mount...
Read moreToo expensive for too little. We waited in line for a "grand opening" and spent $60 for a goodie bag apparently worth $150. All of that together was barely worth $60. 2 blunts later and its almost all gone. They seemed new and inexperienced, but have been low key open for weeks.
Edit: no y'all didn't! You had one oz for that price, and it was shake! And the '40% off' still came up to twice the price down the street. Literally, we went down the road and spend 10 less for twice the amount. Removing a star for the audacity of trying to be petty after...
