francesca's — Local services in Mount Pleasant

I typically like the clothing from this chain, but my experience at this specific location was incredibly off-putting. The manager went out of her way to approach me and my girlfriend and address us in a way that was both rude and disrespectful - totally uncalled for. If being a staff member at Francesca’s means making your potential customers feel marginalized and uncomfortable just by quietly perusing the store and minding our own business, then this shop is definitely fitting the description. I couldn’t believe what I was hearing. I just sorta looked around to each of the other staff members in disbelief, hoping it was either a joke or that someone else would jump in and assist us. They did not. We will never be shopping at this location again, and will have to seriously consider ever visiting this chain again....

The clothing options are great here and I love Francesca's but this location consistently is off-putting because of the staff. They are not helpful at all. No one greeted me this time which is not a big deal..however, the main issue was the workers were talking about other people and their life drama and how they were so tired and over-worked. The girl who checked me out didn't do the BOGO 50% right and I had to correct her. I think if she had been paying attention instead of complaining the entire time, she might have noticed. I'll be going to the downtown location...

2:52 pm: we were not pleased with our experience at this location. I do love the store, but here in North Carolina we are not greeted, did not have anyone ask if we needed assistance like the other customers, and my cashier seemed miserable.

It seemed like all the "other" customers were super pleased- one man wanted to tell the manager how great his experience was. However, we felt kinda uncomfortable and almost didn't buy anything.
