Stylexchange — Local services in Mount Pleasant

My friend and I went in the other day to just look. I ended up grabbing two tops while I walked around the store. I decided it wasn't worth it to try them on or buy them, so I put the tops back (exactly where I found them). We walked out and went to Old Navy, we did one lap of the store and walked back to the front. As we were walking to the doors, two style exchange employees walked in and went towards us. One girl asked where I put the tops that I had in my hand because she didn't see me put them back and couldn't seem to find them in the store. I was honestly shocked that not one, but TWO employees followed me and my friend out of their store and tracked us down?? I didn't want anything to be an issue, so I went back to Style Exchange and showed her exactly where I put both tops (literally where I found them?? You wouldn't have to do much looking to find them). They then proceeded to ask my friend where she put her top as well (a shirt she had in her hands for probably not even a minute). My friend showed her and we walked out. You could tell by their tone/the way they approached us and continued to address us, they still believed we stole the clothes. I still cannot believe that I was tracked down and followed into the next store because some employees didn't even bother to look around for...

Visited this Boo- tique today with my daughter and her boyfriend. I was APPALLED at the horrible customer service of all 3 reps. We were all constantly followed around and I swear they each crossed their arms and had “Resting B* Face” the entire time we shopped. God forbid you look at jewelry! Also, I made a comment about a piece of fashion as a question to my daughter- the sales B* interjected to reply with such a rude comment. She could have offered suggestions- but instead chose to abuse a customer. My daughter was insulted when she tried something on- I was so ready to escape! I have NEVER been treated so rudely in any establishment. Thought I would give a try but we all 3 agreed, we would rather die than to go back there. Mt. Pleasant close this Boo- tique. ...

I recently purchased a top online in white for pick up, at the style exchange in Mount Pleasant town center in South Carolina. When I went to pick up my top it was the wrong color. The male manager that was at the store was extremely rude and unhelpful told me they didn’t make the top anymore and sorry he didn’t order it. Proceeded to tell me the people in the back must’ve ordered it it’s not his fault. I asked him if I could get a refund since he told me they no longer make it and he said yes… I stood there waiting and he said “ma’am I promise you I will give you a refund, I can’t do it right now, I’m busy!!”! Terrible customer service! I was actually was going to buy something extra when I was in there, but since he was so rude I will not be visiting that...
