I have been a regular customer of this Staples store in Mt. Pleasant, Michigan for over 20 years, for ALL my computer needs, including 3 laptops, 3 printers and MUCH in office supplies for my business and personal use. NEVER AGAIN, they lost this faithful customer! I bought Norton 360 from them as well, and they still sell it. But they stubbornly REFUSE to help me with it when I called about problems figuring out the recently changed Norton control panel that pops up when you click on the app. "We only service McAffee" is their lame excuse, with no real explanation of why. Just that they won't help. This sounds like a choice they make, not an inability. WHY don't they service what they sell? Isn't that exactly WHY we try to buy at local brick and mortar stores? This is abominably bad customer service. I highly suggest you take ALL your computer business, office supply and printing elsewhere, as I now will. They don't appreciate their customers. With brick and mortar stores of all kinds going out of business all over the country due to increased online competition, you would think they would be trying harder, not less. Poor management, poor customer service, and poor company policy. THIS is exactly how businesses manage to close down their corporation permanently. The girl in the print center was nice but her shift was up so she called over the manager I think his name was John this dude is the rudest guy ever. On top of that I paid for business cards that are just not up to par. Horrible quality and they didn’t even get my image right there was supposed to be a thin black border and it freaking huge so much you can barely see the information on my cards. And it was supposed to be same day print and didn’t get them for almost a week later. On top of that I wanted to get 5 sheets of gift cards printed FIVE should take 2 min right dude came over and said it was gonna be over an hour wait….for 5 sheets? WTH I don’t live in town I can’t just wait around for an hour for 5 sheets I went to the UPS store across the street had my gift cards in less then 5 min and they will forever get my print business...
Read moreI recently purchased a new laptop at Staples and was very pleased. I'm sure I was very annoying to the staff there, but nonetheless they were willing to answer all of my questions. The Staples rep who worked with me was very patient and answered all of my questions about computers in a way I could understand. Overall I was very impressed with the customer service. The PC so far is amazing. I was not expecting much from it since it was fairly cheap compared to previous systems I have purchased. However, the PC greatly exceeded my expectations. While the main purpose for my new laptop is simply for college use, I also enjoy playing some computer games. The laptop performs very well with games like The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, as well as Star Craft II. I am very pleased with Staples and my purchase there, I will definitely be shopping...
