The donuts ordered were disgusting and untasteful. When we picked up the order, we were concerned about the appearance, as they were smushed-looking. We blew this off as we assumed that the appearance might be because of the donuts being the vegan chocolate, one of the substitutes being the cause. Well, when at the event, we experimented and tasted them. They were salty and inedible, almost like they were missing an ingredient. Many guests tried them and also found them unappealing. When we called in our concerns, we were told the donuts were not of the best quality after 24 hours, which is not alliterated on the website like they said. We were also told that it was a "lack of communication on both sides and we are sorry for your experience." We were told this because of our event not being communicated, which was not needed, we ordered a party kit and followed the policy of ordering a few days before. We were not offered a refund for the $40 of party kit donuts that we were not able to eat. We were told in the nicest terms that it was our fault for the misconceptions of the product. So, not only did the donuts lack, the customer service...

TLDR: Green Goddess Sandwich; amazing, such fresh ingredients. Generous amount of cheese. Just the way I like it. Golden Latte; the cardamon flavor is incredible. The business has holistically made syrups that they get from other small businesses!

If you're looking to support a small business, make sure you take time to swing by Ignite! The business owner, Casey (hope I spelled your name right) is wonderful. He is a CMU grad and started the business in college.

After seeing the Ignite Donuts Instagram page (it's very funny I'd recommend checking it out) pop up on my social media over the past week, I knew I had to stop by! The shop has a warm atmosphere, and an incredible array of donuts to pick from. He had 25 options to pick from when I walked in at 7:15am.

Casey was wonderful to speak to while he prepared my order. The sandwich was made with incredibly fresh vegetables, and the latte really hit the spot. I couldn't recommend Ignite enough. Also, not to forget, they are open until 1am! A big plus for those...

Donut or Doughnot, that is the question

The upper lip of David’s mouth began to sweat. “I can’t eat it” he said. I myself hadn’t eaten all day. Do I take the risk and hope his expired drink was causing him to vomit? Or am I already in too deep, the bag sitting on my desk.

The droplets of grease seeping through the brown paper The crinkle sound that follows the pull By God, this donut is ugly. A brioche bun splayed open looking like a congealed buttered monstrosity. Lance and David turned, intense eye contact, determined to watch the envelopment of taste.

A slight smell, a whiff of sweetness. First bite. “Ew, its wet.” The custard chunked and congealed, wet, sopping, soaking. The ill pleasing taste of disappointment only your mothers disapproving eye can give. Lance, turned around in shame, unable to watch any further degradation. “Does it at least taste good?” David questioned, the last bits of hope leaving his voice.

“No” This...

My family and I tried here after seeing it on tik tok. I can honestly say this is a must try! My husband and I debated on if these were the best donughts we have ever had or not, and we travel a lot and try lots of bakeries. I honestly think the creme brulee donut was the best I've ever had. My husband was tied with a hot and fresh one from a donut shop in Cali but ultimately agreed these were better. Both my kids loved their doughnuts as well. My hard to please 14y old even said he would order the apple pie donut again and he wasnt even there when I picked it out for him. I did warm them up in the airfryer like the owner suggested when I got home and then I had some the next day too and they were amazing. I can only imagine fresh.... well at least until I get there when they are. 10/10 I will definitely be back.

Just got our first few items from Ignite Donuts and they're great! Original donuts, maple and bacon glaze, and then chocolate vegan with chocolate and cookie crumbles. The chocolate donut is a bit dense for my liking but they're still so good 🤤 also got a pictured rocks shake and holy cow, that's good! Edit: I forgot the best part- they have so many eco friendly options 😍 wooden utensils, recycle bins, paper straws. They also had tons of dietary restrictive options like vegan donuts, oat milk, and vegan/plant based cheese and butter. The lobby was so cute! It had some nice seating and a bar with outlets to sit and work.

These paczki’s are absolutely disgusting. The custard has absolutely no flavor. They slice them in half then put the filling in them. It’s almost like the filling is made in the house by somebody that doesn’t know how to do deserts. Traditionally, they’re dusted with powdered sugar, but these had glaze on them which some do but this is a huge disappointment. I would never buy these again. I would never eat them if they were free, and I really wish robairs was still in business.
