Los Aztecas Mexican Grill and Bar — Restaurant in Union Charter Township

Yesterday, 5 August 2024, we came across Los Aztecas Mexican Grille after viewing possible new home purchases. Talk about really good mexican food. Believe me, I have had some of the best Mexican food from Mexico. Noooo... not New Mexico, the state, but the country. We really enjoyed our carnitas tacos with rice refried beans. Love the red sauced served with the tacos; I just wish it was a bit hotter!!! The only thing I felt was missing was a few jalapeños. Yeah, I like my mexican food very spicy!!! Our server was awesome, and we have great attention to detail. The food had a great taste. The atmosphere was clean and had a warm, inviting feel. This will be our go-to Mexican restaurant in Mount Pleasant, MI. Shout out to the owner and staff. Continue being blessed. US Army Veteran.👍

10th time here less than a year. Looking for a place to eat dinner on Love day, go here. Not crowded, and the food is outstanding; as Always!!! Great service as usual. Love this...

The food was disgusting. When I received my food it wasn't like what the menu said. I ordered some kind of platter that had mozzarella sticks, chips and queso, taquitos, chicken wings, and fries. The wings were supposed to be plain wings and when I received my platter the wings were covered in a very spicy nasty red sauce and my mozzarella sticks were burnt and thrown on the plate in the wing sauce...I let the waiter know and they remade them for me, but the mozzarella sticks were burnt again and I was shorted on the wings. For the other food my fries were hard, dry, and cold. The queso was supposed to come in a little dish with the chips on the plate....the chips were on the plate with the queso on them and burger, so the chips were soggy and the burger they put on it was nasty (mushy and had no flavor). The taquitos were also gross. They were flavorless and the meat was gross that was in them (I actually had to spit it out). Definitely will not be...

Saddest excuse for a torta I've ever seen in my life. We both ordered the same thing. Both were a mess falling apart and breaking. Wrong type of bread. Completely soggy it was so messy. And the steak was overcooked and dry. The beans were cold. I bit my son's quesadilla and immediately knew why he didn't want it. They must've used fake American cheese from the food bank and Aldi brand tortillas. I told the waitress I wanted a bottle of beer. She said I would save money if I got the same beer on draft so I agreed. She brought me the biggest beer mug she could find without even informing me that there was a smaller size. Normally I would like a giant beer but I went there to eat with my family not get drunk. $60 later we walked out without even finishing our food. Plain gross.
