Vestique — Local services in Mount Pleasant

I’m not usually one to go out of my way to write reviews, but I truly believe in giving credit where it’s due—and Vestique in Mount Pleasant deserves all of it.

This is hands-down my favorite store to shop at in Charleston, not just because of the beautiful clothing and on-trend styles, but because of the incredible experience I have every time I walk in. The team at this location sets the standard for customer service—welcoming, friendly, and genuinely helpful.

What really stands out to me is the consistency. I know it can be challenging to find great employees in the boutique world, but I’ve never had a bad experience here. Everyone is always warm and attentive, which makes a huge difference. I want to especially recognize the store manager, Tae. I haven’t seen her in the last few visits, but when she is there, she remembers me and always goes out of her way to make me feel valued. That kind of personal touch is rare, and it doesn’t go unnoticed.

I have shopped at this location for about 2 years, and the last couple of times I’ve shopped in this store, I haven’t bought anything because of how rude and unhelpful the employees were. Yesterday I had my hands full of items to try on, and instead of asking me if I needed a fitting room, the two girls working sat behind the counter playing on their phones the entire time. Once I helped myself to a fitting room, there was a couple of items I wanted to buy, but I decided against it because not once did either of the girls look up from their phones and help any of the many shoppers that were in the store. A couple of weeks ago as I was shopping this location with a friend, she asked one of the girls working (who were two different girls) if they had more sizes in a pair of Spanx leggings. “That’s it”, the girl said, barely even getting up from behind the desk. This place is awesome! I came through here not looking for anything specific and walked out with a huge bag of clothes. The staff was so friendly helpful and super knowledgeable about what would look best on my body type. I came here with my mom and daughter and we all bought something which is super nice they have something for everyone. I also noticed it’s price point is competitive to the area.
