Rent-A-Center — Local services in Mount Pocono

Received a message that I had $1477 Credit available to use on new agreement. I went online and picked out something i liked and was interested in. A few moments later i had an associate reach out to me saying the item i was interested in was "online only" and proposed a different "more expensive" item. I asked for a comparable item. They said ok. Then proceeded to tell me that that credit is only good to get a returned item from the store. That's NOT what their terms and conditions say. It reads NEW AGREEMENTS ONLY!

Poor customer service and misrepresentation of the terms...

Scam of a store. Run the opposite direction!!! Repeatedly told me I would be charged the amount to buy the item. Charged me an extra $600 WITHOUT my consent. Called the store to talk about it and the guy had no idea what to do and the manager has the nastiest attitude, refused to speak to me about the issue. Disgrace of a human being, do your job or get a new one! JUST GO TO...

Tried for 3 days now to get payoff on my account . Takes maybe 3 minutes to look it up on the computer . Oh wait .no the computer is down again .Happens every time I call . 2 days still no answer . Guess my business is not that important...
