We were treated with complete disrespect and very unprofessionally at the mount Pocono store. It became quite clear that we were treated with extreme hatred because of our race. Evidently, Caucasians aren't welcome! We were denied refunds other than the option of a store credit. Twice! Although they had an unannounced pathetic 7 day return policy regarding a full refund at time of purchase, we were still denied on the 6th and again on the 7th day. The 1st attempt to return items was 12/30/23 for items purchased just before closing on December 23rd. After my wife and granddaughter waited a long time until realizing they were being deliberately ignored at the register line, and once they asked for help to return some items, the Store Clerk rudely snatched the receipt from my elderly wife's hand, then told my wife that the night of the 23rd (our purchase day) counted as day #1 justifying being too late to make a refundable return. Regardless of the date printed on the receipt. A day later, which was now a second attempt (when I had gone in with my wife)- they obviously and blatantly ignored us and kept us waiting (just as they did with my wife and granddaughter) then after I politely asked for help, the same woman which was nasty to my wife and granddaughter rudely utilized this day to justify being late and now insisted on counting "Christmas" day as one of the 7 days to support the denial of a refund. Regardless of the fact that they were closed on Christmas! My wife and I were so uncomfortable and upset about how poorly we were treated, that I actually called the customer service number upon our return home. During that call, I was offered a gift card (oh boy) for the troubles and situation. As suspected, we Never did receive a gift card either! What a joke and what a horrible , degrading, disrespectful experience!...
Read moreItâs so unfortunate that this is the only rainbow in the area and that I had to be encountered by a woman who just plainly did not want to work and wasnât afraid to express it. I came in with an order to return that had placed online, Iâve driven 36 minutes to the store to make this exchange And because it wasnât in a the plastic with the sticker on it; the pants did have a tag, The receipt was also there with it, this woman had the nerve to tell me that I shouldâve kept it in the plastic bag It came in because it wouldâve made her job easier and that now she had to go down the list to find the item. This lady at the register was a middle-aged heavyset Caribbean woman with a very nasty attitude and clearly wants her job to be âmade easyâ. It would be nice to have a friendly face at a register that actually wants to work. I suggest you find this employee something to do in the back Where she doesnât have to give silly remarks about her job or have a nasty face after to face the your customers. This incident happened yesterday 6/26/25 between 1-2pm. Everyone else in the store was professional and friendly but this lady was a mess and Iâm upset I had to encounter such an attitude, I almost didnât make a purchase behind her silly remark...
