Things that I would recommend get the green curry fried rice with chicken add egg vegetables with chicken if you're a person that can handle spice get a level six is not too spicy but you definitely feel it if not try to go a little lower the garlic chicken wings are amazing ask for them to be crispy but other than that the salmon oh my God amazing I can go on and on about this place go in check it out and let them know that you saw my review one of the number one customers thank...
Read moreFood was small portion for the price. Chicken wings i ordered garlic sauce was no sauce on the chicken and it was 6 little wings for 11 dollars? They put sauce on the side but it was not enough to cover all wings. I ordered spring rolls its was ok but they was not worth 9 dollars. I ordered pan woon sen was good but the serving size, we're too small. And i ordered there rice with pineapple and shrimp and chicken... the rice was a little under cook. And nothing special with it.. and again portion was too small for the price. I figured this is my first time ordering from there, and the prices made me think that this is a large, so it should be enough to feed everybody and my family, but it wasn't because this portion were too small so total of 60.90 dollars its wasn't worth it. Disappointing, try to support local in our community. But the prices are too much for that little bit of food and to feed a family of six people was embarrassing because on a picture of advertising, the chicken wings were a whole wing but when I got it only 6 little wings?? A whole wing is 3 piece right? So you telling me I paid 11 dollars for 3 whole wings? And y'all cut them up to make 6? That's a rip off. I like the menu option when I was reading it. But now that I know what the serving size and for the price of the food, I would not be ordering from here ever again. The rice and noodles meal was basically 40 dollars for that little bit of it. I ordered indian food in stroudsburg and got a rice meal and one of there noodles meal and its was full to the max capacity and those 2 meals together was 20 dollars and its was more than enough to feed my family of 6 plus we had leftover as well. Rice and noodles are not expensive. I know that for a fact because I cook as well. So why be cheap on a rice and noodle? I know it's a business strategy. But don't be cheap with the rice and noodles, not even in Chinese restaurants does that and I don't even like Chinese food that much. That's why I want to try this restaurant. But the taste is better that the Chinese restaurant but like I said rice was little under cook and still taste fresh then Chinese rice but if we go compare habachi rice, they are on another level they full up there rice to the max and it tastes great if you at the...
Read moreA truly wonderful addition to Mt. Pocono with an expansive menu that's equal parts enticing, encouraging, and intimidating by its size. The variety in the menu alone is enough to beckon repeat visits to this restaurant, operated by the most delightful and friendly woman.
With proteins and starches a plenty, there's really no going wrong with your choice of food on the menu at Thai Chang. The portions are perfectly sized to both leave you satisfied and wanting more. A personal favorite of mine are the wing zeep with a unique and exciting flavor profile. I'm also in love with the flavorful cold creamy thai tea, which quite frankly, I could drink by the gallon.
The dishes are beautifully presented and the dining area itself is a cozy and very neatly kept space with some cool looking wall art. It's really just a nice environment to be in, amplified by the warmth of the owner who really makes you feel like you're dining with a friend.
It's refreshing to have such an establishment in Mt. Pocono, which is wrought with chain fast food restaurants and underwhelming independent restaurants that can't seem to figure out even the basics of operation. Thai Chang has a clear sense of identity and knows how to please. Being that I work mere minutes away, I look forward to becoming a regular.
It's a rarity for me to not have a negative thing to say, but here we are. Thai Chang's exactly the kind of restaurant that anyone should be proud to have in their community, and I wish them many years of success as they continue to...
