I was really hesitant to write this review, especially since Thai Chang Cuisine has a 4.7-star rating—which honestly left me wondering how. I chalked it up to maybe just catching them on an off day (5/2), but I can only speak to my experience. I ordered a large Tom Yum soup, shrimp tempura, garlic wings, and fried chicken pad Thai. I was genuinely excited because I love Thai food and eat it often. Unfortunately, this missed the mark in nearly every way. • Shrimp Tempura: I don’t know what happened here. These looked and tasted like baby shrimp that had been microwaved. No real shrimp flavor, no crunch—just sad. Honestly, Costco’s frozen shrimp tempura would have outperformed this by a mile. 0/10 • Garlic Wings: Drenched in oil and overwhelmingly sweet, as if sugar had just been dumped on top. I couldn’t finish them. 2/10 • Tom Yum Soup: This was probably the most disappointing item. No lemongrass flavor, no citrusy punch—none of the bright, aromatic qualities Tom Yum is known for. It tasted like hot water with some ingredients tossed in. See the picture for reference. 0/10 • Pad Thai with Fried Chicken: The noodles were dry, lacking any sauce or real flavor, and again, just overly sweet. The “fried” chicken didn’t seem fried at all—just bland and dry. 1/10 I really wanted to like this place, but the entire meal left me baffled and disappointed. Maybe this was a one-off bad day, and I hope it was, but based on this experience, I can’t recommend it.

My family and I was in Kalahari, we were looking for a subtle take out/dine in spot that we would enjoy. We came across this gem after we saw great pictures of food on here… the food did NOT disappoint at all. One of the best Thai spots I been too in a while. I am from Long Island/Queens area and we have known Thai spots this place has exceptional service, clean kitchen and clean bathroom. You can tell this family owned business it’s well kept! The owner and waiter were outstanding. Best drunken noodle, basil eggplant , pineapple fried rice, coconut milk rice and Thai custard Ive had. Next time I am taking pictures to post, my toddlers ate their whole plate!

This is a new, updated review because we had dinner here now a second time this evening and liked it even better than the first time. I had the crispy chicken pad Thai because I saw a review from someone else who said it was excellent and they were 100% right! It was absolutely delicious. My husband and I also shared spring rolls and veggie dumplings and then my husband had a garlic & pepper stir fry with seitan as well as a crispy duck salad and he just loved that too. The owner is lovely as well as her son and it was a great experience. Highly recommended.

If you're searching for the perfect combination of authentic Thai cuisine, exceptional hospitality, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere, look no further than Pat's Thai Chang Restaurant. This hidden gem consistently delivers an experience that leaves you eagerly anticipating your next visit.

At the heart of this establishment is Pat, the talented chef whose dedication to her craft is evident in every perfectly seasoned dish. Each plate is a masterpiece, from the tender, flavorful curries to the delicate balance of spices in the stir-fries. You can tell that the food is prepared with the utmost care, using fresh ingredients and traditional methods, resulting in flavors that transport you straight to the heart of Thailand.

Tracy, the ever-attentive cashier, ensures that each visit begins with a smile. Her professionalism and warm demeanor make you feel like a valued guest from the moment you walk through the door. Tracy takes the time to greet you personally, answer any questions you may have, and makes sure your order is handled efficiently.

Beyond the impeccable food and outstanding service, the cleanliness of the restaurant is remarkable. The attention to detail in maintaining a spotless and inviting dining area reflects the pride that Pat and her team take in their work. The tables, floors, and even the restrooms are immaculate, enhancing the overall dining experience.

What truly sets Pat’s Thai Chang apart is the consistency. Every visit is as delightful as the last, with food that’s always cooked to perfection and a team that never fails to make you feel welcome. Whether you’re stopping by for a quick meal or enjoying a leisurely dinner with friends or family, you’ll leave with a full stomach and a satisfied smile.

You won’t just be dining; you’ll be part of an experience that combines excellent food, a welcoming environment, and some of the most gracious hospitality around.

Things that I would recommend get the green curry fried rice with chicken add egg vegetables with chicken if you're a person that can handle spice get a level six is not too spicy but you definitely feel it if not try to go a little lower the garlic chicken wings are amazing ask for them to be crispy but other than that the salmon oh my God amazing I can go on and on about this place go in check it out and let them know that you saw my review one of the number one customers thank...

Food was small portion for the price. Chicken wings i ordered garlic sauce was no sauce on the chicken and it was 6 little wings for 11 dollars? They put sauce on the side but it was not enough to cover all wings. I ordered spring rolls its was ok but they was not worth 9 dollars. I ordered pan woon sen was good but the serving size, we're too small. And i ordered there rice with pineapple and shrimp and chicken... the rice was a little under cook. And nothing special with it.. and again portion was too small for the price. I figured this is my first time ordering from there, and the prices made me think that this is a large, so it should be enough to feed everybody and my family, but it wasn't because this portion were too small so total of 60.90 dollars its wasn't worth it. Disappointing, try to support local in our community. But the prices are too much for that little bit of food and to feed a family of six people was embarrassing because on a picture of advertising, the chicken wings were a whole wing but when I got it only 6 little wings?? A whole wing is 3 piece right? So you telling me I paid 11 dollars for 3 whole wings? And y'all cut them up to make 6? That's a rip off. I like the menu option when I was reading it. But now that I know what the serving size and for the price of the food, I would not be ordering from here ever again. The rice and noodles meal was basically 40 dollars for that little bit of it. I ordered indian food in stroudsburg and got a rice meal and one of there noodles meal and its was full to the max capacity and those 2 meals together was 20 dollars and its was more than enough to feed my family of 6 plus we had leftover as well. Rice and noodles are not expensive. I know that for a fact because I cook as well. So why be cheap on a rice and noodle? I know it's a business strategy. But don't be cheap with the rice and noodles, not even in Chinese restaurants does that and I don't even like Chinese food that much. That's why I want to try this restaurant. But the taste is better that the Chinese restaurant but like I said rice was little under cook and still taste fresh then Chinese rice but if we go compare habachi rice, they are on another level they full up there rice to the max and it tastes great if you at the...

A truly wonderful addition to Mt. Pocono with an expansive menu that's equal parts enticing, encouraging, and intimidating by its size. The variety in the menu alone is enough to beckon repeat visits to this restaurant, operated by the most delightful and friendly woman.

With proteins and starches a plenty, there's really no going wrong with your choice of food on the menu at Thai Chang. The portions are perfectly sized to both leave you satisfied and wanting more. A personal favorite of mine are the wing zeep with a unique and exciting flavor profile. I'm also in love with the flavorful cold creamy thai tea, which quite frankly, I could drink by the gallon.

The dishes are beautifully presented and the dining area itself is a cozy and very neatly kept space with some cool looking wall art. It's really just a nice environment to be in, amplified by the warmth of the owner who really makes you feel like you're dining with a friend.

It's refreshing to have such an establishment in Mt. Pocono, which is wrought with chain fast food restaurants and underwhelming independent restaurants that can't seem to figure out even the basics of operation. Thai Chang has a clear sense of identity and knows how to please. Being that I work mere minutes away, I look forward to becoming a regular.

It's a rarity for me to not have a negative thing to say, but here we are. Thai Chang's exactly the kind of restaurant that anyone should be proud to have in their community, and I wish them many years of success as they continue to...
