Golden Dragon — Restaurant in Mount Pocono

I walked into a freezing interior- it was like 55-60 degrees- that’s one way to deter people from eating in. Cashier was nice and polite BUT.. Flavorless food.. so disappointed that I spent $55 there and came home and threw some of it out. If you are a crab Rangoon junkie like me DO NOT order it from this location! I have no idea what the filling was inside.. It has zero cheese taste at all! I ordered some egg foo young and the “golden sauce” just tastes like oily flour. I had to come home and add my own ginger and a touch of sesame oil to it to get it to have any type of flavor. My husband ordered chicken with broccoli- But that should’ve said broccoli with touch of chicken.. I love egg rolls.. The interior of these egg rolls were overly moist and spongy when chewing .. i’m not sure what they use on the inside filling. It does not taste or chew like a standard eggroll, and they were very oily as if the fryer wasn’t up to temp before...

Steer clear of this place unless you're in the mood for a comedy of culinary errors! The chicken wings were like relics from the ancient fryer, oilier than an oil slick and drier than the Sahara. The egg roll could double as a hockey puck, it was that overcooked and unappealing. The kung pao chicken? More like kung "plow" chicken, because it was buried under an avalanche of celery with just a tiny chicken cameo. And as for the General Tso's chicken and shrimp, it was like a bad sitcom: mushy, with a mysterious aftertaste that left us scratching our heads. Trust me, you're better off staging your own kitchen disaster than subjecting yourself to this culinary...

This place was terrible the staff were very rude. The older lady made the comment that another couple of Asian decent had priority over everyone. I had a 30 minute lunch break, me just visiting PA decided to try them well it took way longer than expected because they serviced everyone else besides me. Kind of racists to me but the food was trash the egg roll was so hard couldn’t even bite into it. The shrimp and broccoli tasted like boiled water no type of seasoning or sauce. The fried rice is actually just yellow rice with a lot of peas, onions and cabbage. I will never visit this location again even though I’m only on business travel they lost...
