This is My third visit to "Hello Tokyo" Japanese restaurant was yet another unforgettable experience! From the moment I stepped in, the warm atmosphere and friendly service made me feel right at home. The decor is simple yet elegantly Japanese, with soft lighting that creates a cozy dining environment.
The food, as always, was of the highest quality. The sashimi platter was incredibly fresh, with each slice of fish melting in my mouth. The sushi rice was perfectly tempered, with just the right amount of vinegar, paired with fresh fish—it was a perfect combination. I highly recommend their signature ramen; the broth is rich, the noodles are firm, and the toppings are plentiful, making every bite a delight.
The service was also outstanding. The staff were attentive and thoughtful, always aware of our needs without being intrusive. The entire dining experience was smooth and enjoyable.
Overall, "Hello Tokyo" is not just a restaurant, but an experience. The quality of the food and the attention to detail in the service truly reflect their dedication to their customers. I can't wait to...
Read moreMy family and I (5 adults) came here on a Sunday afternoon and it was beyond our expectations for the usual Pocono experience. The food looks and tastes great. Portions were large.
The shrimp tempura was a heap of the shrimp sticks and a couple large tempura vegetable slices. Not super greasy and very light and crispy.
Specialty sushi rolls were full, fresh and flavorful. Prefect ratio of rice to fish.
Seaweed salad is great.
Seafood udon soup was very large with shrimp, scallops and crab sticks. I asked for it spicy and it was delicious.
The hibachi salmon and shrimp was good. They give big shrimp on everything. The salmon was salmon. I don’t know what the sauce was so maybe ask if you care.
There’s a good amount of booths and it was nice and inviting-as was the staff. My parents don’t get out much and they really liked that they could get a nice different meal without breaking the bank and still feel comfortable. Our waitress explained a lot to my dad —he had...
Read moreSo Disappointed, Small Portions, and Left Hungry! My wife and I were craving some great Japanese noodles and calamari. We had heard good things about Hello Tokyo. So We gleefully ordered beef noodles, house special noodles and crispy calamari. You can’t go wrong with a house special dish…can you? Our noodles were served with the calamari appetizer and we were shocked by the tiny portions. Additionally, the noodle dishes were drenched in soy sauce making both dishes briny and over seasoned. Both noodle offerings were quite and over cooked. I counted three shrimp a few small pieces of chicken and a few meager pieces of beef in my House Special. The calamari was 8 oval pieces and the Crispy Calamari was well prepared and tasted great with the provided sauce. The green tea was perfect. The noodles were shockingly bad and made us both quite sad. How do you mess up noodles? Hello Tokyo has...
