Weis Markets — Local services in Mount Pocono

Upon entering the store, I approached the produce section. The varieties offered were sub-par and almost spoiled. Had I known that the selection was that bad, I would have gone elsewhere. Alas, I continued my shopping trip, hoping to make it better, somehow. I needed to stop at the deli, so I made my way there next. While there were only myself and 2 other people waiting in line, it seemed to take an eternity to get waited on. Now, the employee was a sweetheart and I thought to myself, "hey, maybe this will be OK." Boy was I wrong! I finished my shopping and got up to the checkout where I had to wait for a little while. That's no big deal. I'm having a good time so far, waiting is just part of shopping. The cashier noticed that there were no separators for orders, and saw that I was waiting until there was a far enough gap between orders to start putting my things up. At that moment, I should have left. In an annoyed huff, the cashier pushes the separator down to where I could reach it. OK. Still not that big of a deal. She starts ringing up my order, and I take the bags now and start putting them in my cart. At this time, I notice that the screen is ringing up negative numbers. I thought this a bit funny and said, "why are they coming up negatives?" BAAAADDDD mistake on my part! Now, mind you, this woman named Missy, looks to be a hell of a lot older than a teenager, but that didn't stop her from acting like one. The response from her as she rolled her eyes (yes! She rolled her eyes!) was, (in a very nasty tone) "you need to look at this other screen here!" As she points to the credit card screen, and continues with, "you know, if you get with the melenium and look over here!" ARE YOU F-ING KIDDING ME?!?!?! I have NEVER had such a rude, patronizing, inappropriate experience in my life! I almost bit right through my tongue! Not only did I have a full-grown woman just talked to me like that, but the way she acted was worse than most teenagers! Then she proceeded to just toss groceries in the bag with no care. As I checked out, and got home, I had taken a doughnut out that I had purchased. I had gotten a dozen of them. They were all soggy on the outside and stale inside. I spent $5.00 on them, and after my experience I wasn't even going to take them back. The whole dozen went out with the trash. My fruit that I picked so carefully through to get the least soggy of the selection was also bruised. I know it wasn't that way when I picked them out. I will NEVER return...

This store honestly has this feeling all the time almost like its gonna be going outta business any day like 365 days a week.. No idea if they actually are anytime soon but, definitely gotta say this store needs 2 step up their game & maybe start stocking their shelves & whatnot.. Seriously, like every other Weis store I've ever been in is always stocked 2 the hill w/all sorts of sales going on w/everything looking nice N super clean & really welcoming.. But, then you walk into this place here & its like the exact opposite... & if I'm speaking real honest here I've myself have even actually found (& im talkin like on multiple occasions too) all sorts of random food items that were moldy, & or expired as well as certain items opened & or also left out just sitting then put back, etc. Seen things still sitting seriously rotted on shelves that were there on previous trips I made like days before... Even after telling the stores employees of my findings?!?! Uggh!!! So, yeah... Not sure what's the deal there & I'm sure it probably has something def 2 do w/ the lack of help they have working there.. But, nevertheless whatever the reasons its just absolutely unexceptable & something definitely gotta change because not even try in 2b mean but It's just worrisome 2 say the least...Definitly started 2 sense some kinda pattern at this particular store, & still gave them multiple trys only 2 feel it somehow just kept getting progressivly worse each time...SO, that said... I know 4 me I Won't be stopping back again like...

I was coming here at least every other week spending about 500$ a month but no more. Today my mom went in for me to get a few items and there were no cashier's avalible. When the cashier finally got to her register she was pissed bc my mom complained to CS so she proceeded to enter a wrong payment method so my card kept getting declined. My mom came out to have me go in to fix the issue and the cashier told me I'd have to go to the back of the line which was 7ppl long and when I went to take my items and receipt up to CS the cahier ripped the receipt out of my hand saying it's her cash register she'll fix it. This wasn't the first time this cashier was nasty to us either. Another incident; I left my wallet there and called when I got home but nobody knew nothing about a missing wallet. I stopped in and called several times that week asking if they found it but nothing. 2 weeks later I was in shopping and stopped to talk to the manager who said oh yes I have it. She said the cashier gave it to me after u left that day and I tried running after u in the parking lot but u were gone. She said she went thru my wallet looking for my info but couldn't find anything. All my cards were taken out n shoved back in dif places, my money was missing. N what I find funny is that my weis card was sitting in front of my wallet with all my info linked to it. Phone # and address email... This place is disorganized, unprofessional...
