Ada Lash — Local services in Mountain View

BAD MISTAKE during my extension appointment. Glued my lashes together when I asked for a very simple light hybrid set. The technician (maybe an under-trained associate) made several mistakes and was not very gentle during the extension appointment. This should have been my first warning but I heard her whispering to the owner (in Chinese) that she made a mistake. Then I heard the manager whispering back that she will fix and and “let me do it.” Aside from this extremely unprofessional customer service and this horrendous mistake (google it, it’s basically the worst faux pax ever for extensions), the manager refused to remove the uncomfortable lashes that were glued together, and told me “it looks great”. I told her I requested to have some of the hybrid lashes removed because they looked funny and also I felt kinda uncomfortable.

I ended up giving into the correction of the owner and believing that this lash extension job was done correctly. I woke up in the middle of the night, eyes ITCHY SWOLLEN AND RED. I had to use PRESCRIPTION MEDICINE drops to calm my red eyes, and I noticed my right eye was irritated and the lashes felt “stuck” every time I blinked.

I had ordered prescription antibiotic eye drops in the MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT to fix this issue.

Ada Lash is FANTASTIC! I have had lash extensions at many places AND in many cities over the years and I believe Ada Lash has been THE BEST! I have been seeing her consistently for a full year every 3 weeks. Each time, Her husband and Ada greet me with a smile and makes me feel comfortable their really pretty and relaxing new REALLY PRETTY studio. I have a nice, clean, cozy table with a blanket if I need it. Then she works meticulously over an hour and tops it off with a nice head massage and VOILA...my lashes look GORGEOUS! The owner has such a responsible and professional attitude—once, when a new staff member didn’t do things quite right, she personally and patiently stepped in to fix the issue, which really earned my trust in the brand.
