Dave's Video — Local services in Muncie

Have to change to a 5 Star now that they’ve really worked on everything. From customer service to organization EVERYTHING has changed.

Much more on task even with some things going on. Skyler has really helped change my opinion! Super down to earth and easy going. Prices are better than most around town. They also started carrying much more “game swag”, have promotional cards for discounts, and starting tournaments. Really trying a lot to swing with the community.

Original Review the reason for the 3 is partially of the pricing and organization, it's very inconsistent. Same games, with two different prices. Maybe if they weren't placed in the same place but a game with a higher cost than the same game right behind is silly. Also the placement of games seems like they tried at one point? Very poor. BUT I could forgive all this if they didn't have such bad customer service.

EVERY time I go in(which isn't too often) l see both employees sitting behind the desk. You'd think that'd be okay right? Well at least you know where they are but it'll take you probably 2 or 3 tries to get their attention. YouTube, PS4, and several other things going on behind there. I'd much rather them be walking around asking people if they need help while they organize.

My last gripe is with a couple guys in particular. There are a couple that are pretty cool, they'll chit chat and be nice. But a couple that seem almost like they don't want to be there. One guy (short, stocky, dark hair) seems to be very agitated all the time. I just can't see this guy working in a customer service position

The good:

They are popular in the area (small) with only one competitor (GameXchange) and they seem to do well with pricing better on some things. And since they have been around for a while people often go there before even talking to GameXchange and this is why they get a 3 Star. Hope...

While I was only going in here to browse, I couldn't help but feel as though I were disrupting the employee's video gaming session. So when I asked if they had any Blu-rays from a certain horror/sci-fi studio, the "associate" was rather forthcoming about the fact that they would hold back certain titles for their preferred customers (ok cool) and then the realization that they had already determined, rather smugly in fact, that I was among the filthy, unwashed masses (totally bogus dude) and so undeserving of the items which had brought me into this foul store in the first place. And when I asked about something they generally seemed disinterested & annoyingly bothered by my questions/inquiries. I know, I know I was disrupting video game time (my bad ; ) It looks like I'll just stick to 🤙 Game X-Change Muncie 🤘 & perhaps try to go several more years without browsing this particularly sad location. Although the used item prices are decent, the selection is unreliable at best & the employee's largely apathetic not to mention they now have a plethora of pop culture, plastic...

I know my opinions may be one of many ! I honestly cant recommend this place anymore ! I have never been so disrespected in my life . This happened in front of another customer as well as my son at the time . I usually can't even take my son in this establishment due to the smell of smoke .I was just trying to help this lady out so she didn't get ripped off . She even stated she didn't know the worth of the items she was trying to sell. You can literally go next door to franki ds and purchase games and systems cheaper . You was upset with me because I wanted to give the lady more money then what you was ? How is that right . We all want a good deal at the end of the day and want what are stuff is worth .I understand people will still shop here . I jus want people to understand we give these places power but we can also dont have to. There is so many places that have great deals on games and decent customer service. Which is hard to find. Please just remember we are all people looking for a good deal but everyone is worth so much in my eyes. So don't ever let anyone...
