The Waterfront — Local services in Murray

This store is fantastic! They have a beautiful set up and the store is so clean. The staff were so helpful and willing to answer all our questions. This has become my new favorite fish store in the valley.

2 year update. This is, without a doubt, the best fish store in utah! The customer service is second to none. They're always bringing in new interesting species that keep hobbyists engaged, and overall, you couldn't ask for a better experience shopping with The Waterfront. I recently ordered a pleco that sadly didn't make it by the time I came to pick it up and without hesitation the staff offered me an upgrade to a more expensive pleco and apologized for the inconvenience of not getting what I initially purchased. While I was in the store, I had so much fun talking with the passionate staff about different species that I ended up purchasing an additional 3 fish and a bunch of fish food. From line staff to management, the team that works there is passionate about the hobby, kind, and genuinely enthusiastic about your personal success. Their passion for the hobby shines through in everything they do. Also, if you haven't visited in a minute, they're actively doing new upgrades to the shop and the stingray display when you first walk in is absolutely stunning! I'm going to be bringing in my wife and son so that they can see how amazing the shop is! Please do whatever you can to support this local shop. Because I guarantee you will never have a better experience...

I really appreciate Taylor, he really takes his time for his customers. Questions I have he always has a great answer. He’s very descriptive in explaining what’s good for your fish and how to care for them. The way he explains things is phenomenal truly! He has such a beautiful store, go check it out! He’s always getting orders of different species from many states from around the world. Certain fish you don’t normally see in other stores, so he’s either got them or working on getting! You can tell he really puts his time and effort into his love for these amazing creatures. Tanks look well cared for and the fish look happy! Thank you Taylor for your help from my past times that I’ve come in and today getting my products for my fish tank today! A lot of people I run into seem to rush me or brush me off, I feel when I’m trying to understand certain things with my autistic brain. Perception is all over with how I see what people say. He really took his time and made me feel like a person that cares no matter how many times I had to ask a certain question, if not yet the same question in many shapes and forms to be able to understand completely! My son and I had a blast looking around. He was very sweet towards my 6 year old to! Thank you for that🙏🏽 My son had the best time! Okay, so I’m normally a figure everything out on YouTube by myself kind of human but if you’re new to the fish world (total noob here) buckle up cause the amount of contradicting info out there is insane. I was gifted a tank when my friend insisted my 6 year old would love having a pet. I’m not a pet person. At all. So after it sat there with just some live plants for weeks my child convinced me to fill it with fish, so we did. I walked into petsmart told them I knew nothing and to give me all the information I’d need to not kill the fish. Wellllll, over the next 10 days most of our fish died. After the third trip to petsmart and zero answers I started calling local aquariums. There were some interesting conversations but finally I talked to Louis at Waterfront. He was able to break down what had happened and what my issue was. I had a lot of anxiety after what happened with my other fish and the amount of times I’ve been in The Waterfront and called them is borderline extreme but every time I have they’ve been nothing but extremely helpful and patient. I literally just have guppies but the quality and selection they have is impressive. Could not convince me to go...
