There is a reason that this Panda Express has a 3.7 Google review rating. It is absolutely mismanaged and the management (specifically Jaime) could care less about inconveniencing people and their time.
I called someone named Magali about three weeks ago and she may or may not be the owner or general manager. I mentioned to her that time and time again, when I visit this location, it’s notorious for being out of many items, including items that They should never run out of, if someone is noticing it’s running low and calling back to the cooks to replenish it. Specifically lo mein noodles which I prefer and chicken. I mentioned this to Magali and she said she would look into it.
I went back today at 4:25 PM and of course the Orange chicken and lo mein noodles were once again completely empty. They dropped the lo mein noodles and did nothing about the orange chicken, which about six people were waiting for. I asked for Jaime the manager and mentioned to him that I had spoken to Magali and was giving this place another chance, only to be sorely disappointed once again. He had a very nonchalant attitude. After 15 minutes of waiting, I Asked him to contact Magali and see if she would comp my meal for the time wasted waiting on these items. He said “I’ll do it” and walked back into his office. He did walk over to the cooks and asked them to drop several items only after I requested he do so. After The lady prepared my order, I advised her that Jaime said he would comp my meal. She went back into his office and came out saying that he said no he wouldn’t. I then requested to speak to him again and he said “You complain all the time”. Perhaps he was upset that I had contacted Magali the previous visit. Not sure. I assured him that I would write this review and he said “do whatever you want”.
This is not the attitude of someone who cares about improving their 3.7 star review rating. In my opinion, this man should not have a managerial job and that is a reflection of the choice Magali makes. Unless you have 15 to 20 minutes to wait literally every single time you go in there for your food to be prepared, I would avoid this place...

I politely asked 4 another entree because the chow mein noodle I received which was freshly cooked tasted very burnt and in appearance was blackened from it being burnt I asked the manager on duty if I could please have an entree as a substitute. And I asked her very politely. she said she can give me fried rice or steamed rice two things which I don't eat I explained to her that I do not eat those I asked her politely if I could just have another entree she said no. she explained to me she would make a new batch of chow mein noodle if I was willing to wait. but my lunch is ending and I could not wait 15 minutes for new batch. again I ask politely I understand that it's not a side it's an entree but this is customer service she said the manager that is that she cannot help me. this is what I told her you're willing to let this be a bad experience because of burnt Chow Mein noodles she physically said yes I gave her my tree with the untouched Chow Mein noodles that was burnt and told her I'm sorry to hear that thank you very much. now I am sitting in my car right outside of Panda Express on Madison in Marietta writing this review. I am in customer service so I understand how easy it is to please a customer especially over something so miniscule. I give this restaurant or this new manager a two thumbs down not because of the food but because of the service and the unwillingness to please a customer. I was never rude ... I never gave attitude. I was very polite through the whole thing and she just looked at me and said no can't help you in my book she's a horrible manager. this experience is especially upsetting because I know everybody that works at this location they all know me and my wife at this location we eat here more than often during our lunch time. So my decision is to spend my hard money where I get good service I will no longer be coming back to this Panda Express ever again it is...
Read moreI would like to say most of the staff members in this location are awesome. The ladies that work here are great, super friendly. The reason for my one star is because after so many years of coming to this restaurant today I came across an employee named Richard, I asked for a plate with steam rice And double teriyaki chicken. This employee barely put a couple of pieces in there, I waited and asked the cashier if she could please let him know that this is not the amount of chicken that I get every single time I come here which is about every day. Richard told her he needs to pay more money if he wants more chicken I felt disrespected by him because I knew the amount of chicken he put in there was not enough. I told him I’ve been coming to this location for so many years, and This is the first time I come across you And you remain so determined to charge me extra money instead of just giving me a couple more pieces, well not only did they lose a customer, but it’s not fair that this employee named Richard has authority to make these decisions and not provide any kind of customer satisfaction.
