Erin and Elsa need some training on customer service. Instead of arguing with a customer who drove 30 min in the middle of a Saturday to get a product she was told was there and belittling her once she realized that someone grabbed the last two items selfishly after likely hearing her and the employee discussing the items over the phone, maybe show a little empathy. I highly doubt the item was there all day from 7am-1pm and within 15 min the last 3 were gone out of coincidence and 2 of them being grabbed with me only being 4 min away!. The fact that Erin gave me such attitude when they were all working in the section and I walked in and asked where the item was and she answered with a smirk that they’re all gone (after I was just on the phone with her or Elsa four minutes prior And she said she’s staring right at two of the items..telling her I’m going to be there in a couple minutes)…made me realize she just didn’t care about offering any customer service for a frustrated customer, but rather to belittle me and ask me if I’m psychic and laugh with other employees. You don’t have to be psychic to know that since I called three times within 30 min to check on items while I was driving and she even asked if I’m the same lady calling that she was obviously annoyed and rather than helping me out she or Elsa were loud about the items I was looking for while working in the same section with others which inspired another rude customer to grab the last two just because she can and she heard someone else was on their way for them …And that Customer had the audacity to walk by with the two bags prominently displayed in her cart within a few minutes of me being there. And I kindly asked her if I would be able to have one of those items since I just drove 30 minutes to get one for a birthday gift and her reply was just as ignorant as the workers, which made me realize she heard them on the phone with me four minutes prior and snatched the last two items to just be selfish. Overall, for the items to be sitting there all day and within minutes of me Calling and either Erin or Elsa saying the bags are right in front of them and as I’m walking in a customer snatches two of them doesn’t add up… It was just pure ignorance all around and I was dumbfounded that instead of Erin and Elsa simply saying “man I’m sorry that sucks that you just drove here 30 minutes and someone grabbed the last two basically right in front of you..” They argued with me and also told me that the lady had every right to grab the last two… Yeah, thanks guys, she has every right to be a selfish person in your store. Got it. While my situation, might’ve been a rare one on a limited stock item and I thought me calling to check on the item with the employees a couple times would make them wanna help me out to get the product, It actually worked the opposite for me… And quite frankly, I’m sure that these two employees especially Erin Have been this rude or worse to other customers.. The way that they both instantly went into argument mode, instead of Customer mode. I happen to be somebody who ran retail stores for 10 years and I am as Kind of a customer as they come, but when I dealt with yesterday was just pure ignorance and lack of concern for a customer. And rather than de-escalating the situation, they escalated it. If they would’ve offered at least one kind notion of compassion or offer me another option to buy something else and help me out ..anything other than rudeness and snarkyness … I would’ve avoided writing this and calling into corporate And just accepted it as dumb luck of a rude Customer overhearing me on my way and selfishly taking the two items. But this was very much the employee’s fault the way that they handled the entire situation and I’m going to demand a callback on this situation being resolved and hopefully both of them get more training on how to treat customers...
Read moreUnfriendly Business from Target employee Jordan
Visiting from Hawa'ii, we decided to order our Starbucks within Super Target since we had to grab Diapers on the way out. Let me start by saying yesterday morning Lisa made our drinks perfect with no problem but this morning she completely ignored us at the register while her colleague, Jordan (Female) had retaliated with our order as we simply explained our drink.
Yesterday morning, Lisa was the only employee who worked the AM shift and it was slow. As our drinks are slightly unusual we had verbally and visually showed her, it took her a few minutes to register the process, just as we asked she made our drinks the way we liked it. Since Lisa had made the drinks to our liking it gave us a reason to return again!
Knocking one bird with two stones we came here for the second time prior to shopping. As we arrived, we seen Lisa making drinks and a young woman with blonde-ish hair, dirty black shirt with no name tag, taking orders at the register. We gave her our drinks and cuts us off stating it's a Latte and rang it up as one without allowing us to complete our order. charging us an additional $6 ($3 per drink). We had to reiterate its not a Latte and gave her the 3 simple ingredients drink and she responds back by correcting us, "again, it's a Latte"! Over the past 2-3 years of ordering the same drink 7 days out of the week she wanted to challenge us and insisted to giving us more of a difficult time. The line is forming longer, she was sounding more sarcastic and rude. She informed us with a sassy tone to go onto the Starbucks app and make a complaint. She ended the conversation very sarcastically which made me upset and disappointed.
Lisa chose not to step in to deescalate the situation and minded her business as if she didn't remember us. As I finally reached her attention she agreed upon Jordan and disregarded our interaction yesterday. Due to both Lisa and Jordan's rudely customers service today, my family and I will not return here again.
Upon stepping away, we spent five minutes looking through the Starbucks app, suggested from Jordan, to find a contact information to give our feedback we were unable to locate much. I had to Google search the Customer Service number and I was connected with William. I explained to him the situation and our concerns, he informed me Starbucks located in Targets are employees of Target and they have their own protocols and have the capability to up charge if they want. I find this very alarming, anyone representing Starbucks should be on the same page as other locations.
I've learned a lesson... Starbucks within Targets may be a convenience but not worth paying an up charge especially if dealing with Target employees working at Starbucks with no knowledge of...
Read moreI want to share my experience here to warn other customers to avoid what happened to me today. I have shopped at this store for many years. I don't really like it as they have bad customer service and I've had alot of negative experiences..however I go here because it's close and has groceries. I will not be going again. Today I went to spend a 200$ gift card I received for my birthday. I went crazy getting halloween decorations and was excited to purchase them and put them up. I open up my gift card fresh out of the package and hand it to the cashier. She scratched the numbers off on my gift card and after making it seem like she was trying to get it to work (even though she knew she scratched the numbers off) said the gift card doesn't work. I told her I handed it directly to you out of the package you scratched the numbers off. She says we'll it doesn't work..completely rude..unapologetic. This was her doing..I told her there's 200$ on that gift card..this is not my fault you clearly did this. I told her to call her manager over who comes over and tells me to call the gift card department. So I have to call your gift card department and put all my stuff back because your employee ruined my gift card by scratching the numbers off of it? He doesn't apologize or acknowledge my statement at all. That's insane. So I ask for someone else..another manager tries to help me but there's nothing she can do. This one was actually nice and trying to be helpful..but still no solution after a half hour of waiting. I had to call and get a new gift card mailed to me, put half my stuff back and did not receive an apology from anyone for this situation that was caused by an employee. Such a huge mistake causing me a huge issue and absolutely no care in the world by the employees. I could hear the cashier talking about me to other employees while the manager was trying to help me. So unprofessional and infuriating. A "I'm sorry" from this incompetent employee would have helped but she obviously could care less she ruined someones 200$ gift card and took a huge chunk of time out of my day. Mind you my one year old son is with me crying and screaming through all this waiting and wasting my time. Save yourself the headache and go to another location. They are an absolute joke here. I also called their corporate office and filed a complaint.. days later have not heard anything from a store manger..district manager..nothing. They truly do not care about their customers and that is obvious. Absolutely...
