After passing by this particular Target store day after day I finally decided to stop. I knew I would need a bit more time there as always. Targets are generally more appealing to the wandering eye than perhaps Walmarts. They're also more spacious and organized. Well need I say more about this Target store in particular......definitely! This Target was a rather fine if not the ultimate example of how much better managed these stores are than their monopolized competition who some may still refer to as Walley World. Anyway, it had been a long time since I last visited a Target store. But everything was so bright and colorful inside. I was looking for household cleaning supplies and I was able to locate them quickly. I was there late at almost 10:00 p.m. so much of the Deli and Bakery was already shut down. I was just in awe with the cleanliness, organization, stocked shelves, colorful eye-catching displays, the friendly employees, the top name brands I was in search of, even the customers seemed to have better attitudes as if they were actually enjoying their shopping ex lol experience as well. With Walmart it seems like the typical customers are all in a hurry to get this disgraceful shipping chore done! Anyway, I could go on and I will after I return for a much longer period. I won't get into the business politics of these two mega stores but I promise to next time. Conclusion - I fell in love again...
Read moreOverall great Super Target with a wide variety of things.
Few negative: Always seem to be out of the majority of things I need. Very frustrating. Fruit is hit or miss based on quality.
I take advantage of the drive up option to pick up groceries and every now and then we definitely get some not so great fruit and veggies picked out by the store employees. Not sure if they are just trying to hurry and fulfill the order without checking the quality. I would recommend going in and picking out your own fresh produce or go to a different grocery store for drive up.
I have had at least four different drive up orders that the employee bringing the groceries out forgot to grab the cold things that I ordered. You would think I would learn my lesson to double check before leaving Target to make sure I received everything but each time when unloading at home I've noticed only dry items made it. With a busy schedule and toddlers this is very frustrating to have to drive all the way back the next day. You also will have to go into the store they won't bring it out to you. Again, toddlers...This kind of defeats the purpose of drive up I guess. I recommend checking your groceries before leaving Target each time if you purchase...
Read moreThis "shopping center" was pushed through zoning by the city council so that it would be able to get good retailers that were just waiting to move in. 4 years later it is still half empty lots. Many store fronts that were built have never been occupied. Two of the major relators, Dixie Line and Walgreens have closed up and left. With multiple open shopping centers through out the town this project was a complete boondoggle and is now a public blight. Time we stop letting the developers run things for their own benefit and think about the public...
