Bomgaars — Local services in Muskogee

We've been here twice as it's in a different town than we live in. A neighbor recommended their feed so we stopped in again today. They have a good selection of products. Prices are competitive and in some cases lower than tractor supply, Atwood's or our local feed store.

Unfortunately the staff is not well trained and don't have a good working knowledge of the product lines. The live plants in the garden center have some unusual varieties such as Chestnut trees but aren't well cared for.

There is also a consistent issue with sale prices being posted on incorrect, much higher priced merchandise. The store does not honor such mistakes when they're pointed out.

Beyond that criticism, they have a wider range of product selection in many areas than the competition. For example I found specialized feed for dairy and meat goats, something I hadn't seen in other stores.

I will continue to shop here for some specialty and well priced products. If they want a larger share of my business they will need to do a better job of training staff and ensure accurate pricing on...

Normally decent service but not today. Supposed to have a good Friday sale on a smoker for $280. Went to get one and asked the cashier if they had any. I was told she didn't know if they got any in. I asked if she could look. I was told they need a stock number to find it. I handed her the advertisement I received in the mail and was told there was no stock number.
