Went here on Friday March 21st 2025 with my mom to look around the store for Goods for our new home. This was our first time at this location, and like any homegoods store, they have a wide variety of products from bedding to pillows to towels to bathroom items, to kitchen items, to seasonal items, and more! We walked in, grabbed a wagon, and looked around the store. We looked in the kitchen section and found more bowls to use as serving bowls, which we brought. We also found a long serving spoon to use as well, and brought that. We also found a little sailboat decoration, which was cute and brought. After that we went in the back and looked at the rugs, but couldn't find much of interest. I found a nice office chair that rolled that i thought was cute, but am not ready to purchase that yet. We then looked at the lamps, and they had a better selection than the one in North Myrtle. They had green, pinks, some white, some clear, some light blues, and a lot more color. We also checked out the bathroom items, but didn't really like any of them. Anyways, after looking at the store, we went to the checkout lane. My mom was actually looking at the items on the checkout lane- as in the store did its job lol. People were kind of confused at us though because we stopped like in the middle checking out the items on the line. We let those people go in front of us. Store was clean and organized. Then it was our turn at the checkout. Our cashier was very nice and helpful, she wrapped the sailboat for us, and rang up our other items. We paid via credit card. We would definetely be back if we are looking...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreAs soon as I walked into the store I felt numerous sets of eyes constantly appearing in the isle I was browsing in..I kindly asked an old bitter lady if they had any flashlights with a black light added to the basic light bulb. I got a very rude look up and down as she growled no and looked at my items in my cart and asked me if I needed herto take my half full cart to front while giving me a "theif" look. I overlooked her bitter rude unfriendly look and comment and began to say that the green glass can sometimes be put under Nyack light and if you're lucky it would contain a type of mineral that would make it glow fluorescent and is worth way more than ppl know. After extending the knowledge she looks at me up and down AGAIN and said did you remember your wallet. I was so embarrassed as others looked at me like I had stolen something. I went to the so called manager and told him of this bitter woman's rudeness and blatant disrespect and he did nothing. I brought 150.00$ worth of merchandise ( which i do often ) and asked id he could extend a discount for the embarrassment which he offered 5$. He acted like he sent the rude woman home then when we got in our car he waved her back in. What has happened to local appreciation? Where is my due respect for the hundreds of dollars I've spent in that store. What a poor excuse for customer appreciation and service. Gross disrespect and complete lack of hold an emote accountable for being an old...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWorst experience ever due to one employee. My husband accidentally knocked something over with the shopping cart, apologized to the person working there and bent down to pick it up. Nothing was broken. The employee picked it up first and gave him a dirty look. He thanked her multiple times as did I say Thank you. She just stared and gave us a dirty look. Then she got up to walk away and she herself knocked something over on the shelf looked at it and walked away. I picked it up for her and she kind of stormed away. We chalked it up to her having a bad day. Later when we checked out, she re-appeared and started to tell the check out clerk about how she hates rude men. We turned to leave with our purchases and she hollered at us to come back and get our cart and put it away. We had placed our cart where several other carts had been placed. I turned to her and said we will leave it there in exchange for her rudeness to us. She did this to no other customer. We have no idea what we did to this woman to treat us this way. But she was a very unwelcoming start to our Myrtle...
