Got the biggest meal they had. To feed 2 adults a 12,6,3 year old kids. Everyone grabbed a bundle of snow Crab legs. Not many snapped. My wife went ahead and pulled out the meat for the 6 and 3 year old. My 12 year old used sissors and finished hers off. I put mine back in the pan of everything else and started to snack on the potatoes corn ect. Our waiter didn't stop by to check on us. By the time she did 3/4 of the corn potatoes and sausage was gone (we where hungry ate a small lunch planning on chowing down on the boil) the waiter brought the bill. I told her about the problem. Management came and only offered 10% off. He told us we should have said something first. We still had 4 bundels of leggs in our pan Well we just didn't have the chance. Waiter never come to ask. My kids where hungry. With my grandmother getting a smaller bag for herself (also didn't eat her Crab legs) the bill was just shy of $300. (My wife and grandma both got 1 margarita I got 2 beers and we also got hushpuppies price wasn't all that bad with everything else in my eyes). Even with a $300 bill we left everything didn't bother on taking anything home. Still had just under half of all of the food put together left. Really wish manager would have took the time to have interest in our actual situation and listen to what I was saying. Long story short the Crab legs sucked. I guess it's what i get for being a nice guy and not waving the waiter down because she...
Read more1st let me say I saw the reviews and was excited about trying the new place :) well the hype for me was OVER RATED I was highly disappointed. I tried the basic crab leg dish while my fiancé got the crab leg combo not seasoned by far literally it was seasoned water. The crab legs we got pretty much was over cooked the crab meat in the shell was breaking apart. I ordered a drink blue something I can’t remember the name but it was mainly pineapple juice with syrup. The fried oysters was a nice size but came out after I was pretty much done eating the crab legs which I didn’t eat all the crab legs for a bill to be 115. The cost isn’t the issue but the food definitely wasn’t worth paying 115. Typically I go to Mr.Seafood which I am never disappointed I most definitely will not be going back here. Then to add this to the note it was at least a dozen workers there but only saw 4 people working while the rest was standing around looking lost etc I can see the place being busy during tourist season but I know for a fact after Labor Day I don’t see a lot of locals going there...
Read moreI would actually give it a 4.5 if there were half stars. But pushed it to the 5 star side due to food quality & staff friendliness.
Our first time here, not knowing what to expect. The place was roomy. The waitstaff was really nice. Food was really good and uniquely served in plastic bags. Not sure what culture this is from… but like it!! Flavors were great. All around experience was a positive.
Only drawbacks on this visit:
After my wife explained that she couldn’t tolerate anything (spicy) hot… when asked about the Buffalo chicken wings the waitress said they weren’t hot. They were too hot for the wife. This not a huge deal as I get it. Difference of palettes. I ate them as a leftover and they were hot, but not unbearable. My wife just can’t tolerate that.
Bigger deal: my wife ordered the cheesecake. It came out frozen. Solid. Couldn’t make a dent in it with a fork. So that went home too. At the time of this writing I haven’t heard if it was eaten yet.
Poor wife of my went on a diet on that meal hahaha. Again. Not all totally the restaurants fault or the...
