Crabs filled up the cooler quickly. Crabs were cleaner than those I caught in Washington NC because of higher water quality. You can more likely catch big crabs before and after highest tide. It is better to set the drumstick inside the ring net rather than tie it to the end of string because without barrier innumerable of baby sea bass clear the...

Used to be a favorite spot. The piers falling apart. The signs are empty. There is nothing truly exciting or safe about this area anymore. Terrible mosquitoes due to the growth around the pier. Not safe for crabbing anymore due to missing boards....

Nice place to catch fish but staff isn’t very friendly and prices are high considering they closed at 6 pm due to short staffing. We have caught a lot of fish off this pier over the years...
