My grandchildren always ask to go to what they happily refer to as the " Pirate Park" they love the boat to climb on, standing at the helm, my twin grandsons will tell out to all who are close " arghh" matey, and refer to themselves as the captain, I've been told I'll walk the plank if I leave to soon. Lol" this is not a large park, but its clean, close to the Jennette pier if you are inclined to go afterwards.. it has a great walking area, unlike concrete, it has a slight bounce to it and falls do not hurt as much, needs a few more swings..but I like it's more private, less people, so not as crowded and that makes for more playtime, summer is soon here, and evenings in the past always seemed more hectic, probably because of the restaurant folks waiting to go in next door... so plan for early day or late evening, a fun time and the younger children seem to enjoy more than older kids, which means less competition to play.. wish there were more seating or a covered area, but I still give 5 stars for all my younger grandchildren love to play here... check it out it's worth...
