Something Fishy — Local services in Nags Head

I recently visited this charming shop that sells beautiful statues and had an exceptional experience. The selection was incredible (the place is MUCH bigger than it looks), and I found a perfect piece for my home. However, since I was on my bike, I was unsuccessful transporting it back with me and the piece broke.

The owner, a lovely woman, went above and beyond by allowing me to have another unscathed piece and offering to drop it off at my house after closing up shop. She delivered it personally within minutes, and her kindness and dedication truly impressed me. I gave her a hug that she fully embraced. I believe there may be a new owner. The gentleman that always waited on us in the past few years was always friendly and the store was always organized. Today we stopped in and I bought a hat. The lady that waited on me was nice but the other woman in a white zip hoody was not friendly at all. She was just kind of blunt. She seemed like she may be a new owner. The store was sloppy and filled with stuff from China. I don't believe I will ever have a want to return. VERY DISAPPOINTED!! AND THEY ARE USING PLASTIC BAGS AGAIN!! Go to the Aquarium on Roanoke Island. After you see how they fight to take care of the injured and sick sea creatures, maybe you'll understand why plastic bags...
