Kurt's Computer Repairs — Local services in Nampa

I was very happy to discover Kurts Computer Repair. After more than 25 years of being with my local computer repair guy, he closed shop without notice. So, my search began for someone new and had no idea of who to hire. I decided to go with Kurt, and he was so nice and helpful and took away my panic of a broken computer since I needed it for business, and I had lost my go to person. He figured all things out and did his repair after ordering parts and rescued my entire computer as the hard drive was failing fast. He is fair minded, and his pricing is also quite fair. I particularly like the fact that he explained all things related to my issue. He came to my house for initial consult, and I followed up with taking it to him for his benchwork that needed to be done.

Overall, I like Kurt a lot and hope he stays in business for a long time. I recommend supporting this small biz so he can be here to meet the needs of other computer...

Edit: Kurt called me the next morning and apologized profusely and assured me they had it in good working order before I came to get it. Turns out, that was true as there were multiple layers to the problem and in my own eagerness to have my computer back pushed them and didn’t give them time to Verify everything. Their team has since gone above and beyond to get me up and running again. In the future I will only be going to Kurt and team for my computer repairs. . . . Dropped my computer off. They had it for 3 days. Called me and said it was fixed. Picked it up, got home and when I booted it up the same error I took it in for popped up. There is no way they even looked at my computer because there is nothing different, even after reassuring me they had it...

Brought my Lenovo Ideapad 3 Gaming Laptop in for the charging port months ago. It required saudering and the back shell was broken near the charging port. Kurt said i didnt need to order a new back shell, fixed it, and sent me off.

Of course the charging port came loose because the plastic shell was broken by the charging port. Kurt begrudgingly fixed it again, while blaming the broken shell he told me not to replace. I bought the part for 40 dollars directly from Lenovo after the second fix, but it still came loose.

I now brought my laptop to Fixitpro in garden city, and they asked who worked on my laptop last because it was clearly installed wrong. This man doesnt know how to saulder and shouldnt be offering...
