I love Paddles Up Poke in Nampa. I dont get to go as often as I would like, but when I do I usually get The Bogus Basin 3 scoop. Today, I decided to try a different bowl. That was my first mistake. I ordered a 3 scoop Lucky Peak. I get that shrimp is expensive, but it is cut up into little pieces and I literally got 8 tiny pieces of shrimp that they are calling 2 scoops!!!! And the 3rd scoop was the perfect scoop size of crab. Had i known there would be serious lack of protein scoops in this bowl I would never had gotten it! And for the same price as The big scoops you get in the Bogus Basin. I wanted to say forget it and just give me another Bogus Basin, (I bought 2 bowls) but they had already made it. So to those considering the Lucky Peak, you seriously get ripped off in the protein department but yet you still pay the high price. So very disappointing!!

Great little place. Had live band playing đŸŽ¶ outside the restaurant. Walked into a clean restaurant that had a short line on a Saturday summer evening 🌇 A few people picked up doordash orders while we waited our turn to order. Food was put in a bowl đŸ„Ł right in front of us. They accommodated our request to have the seaweed put in a small side dish. Foo was so great! Everything tasted fresh.. bummed we got stuffed so quick. Price is a little high for your average but its worth every penny. They did charge 1 buck for any extra side since i also wanted Avocado đŸ„‘ in my bowl. Self seating and their little icecream🍩 was really good! Surprised they gave it out for free! Would definitely recommend to seafood lovers.

Tried Paddles up Poke for the first time. It is like a deconstructed sushi! Adan helped me and he was very kind and knowledgeable! Overall, the portion sizes are huge. I wish there was a smaller size. Everything tasted decent minus the seaweed salad, yuck! There wasn’t anyone in there, so I didn’t feel rushed. Wish there was better parking options, but it is what it is. I probably wouldn’t go back because of the portion sizes. I don’t believe in sushi/raw fish leftovers! But the staff was friendly and there was a little something for everyone! Picture is how much I had left over- felt like I was throwing money away.

Such a bummer. We used to be regulars since they opened but their steep price increases have made it unattainable to go anymore except for special occasions.

For example, the Fiesta Bowl used to be $10 for a small. Now, it’s $15 and it no longer includes avocado. So to get the same bowl it was, it costs $16 ($1 extra for avocado).

Regardless of the 60% price increase, we feel it’s way too expensive for what you get. â˜č

For some reason the smell inside usually isn’t pleasant so we’ve never dined inside. It’s nice they upgraded their outdoor patio, but unfortunately it isn’t covered enough from the blaring sun.

One super annoying thing is the coupons they offer only work in store. We’ve never successfully used them online, despite being told numerous times that it should work.

Food is fresh and absolutely delicious! The flavor profiles are amazing. Employees are usually friendly. The brookies they cross-sell are the best we’ve ever had, though we don’t know if they’re selling them anymore.

EDIT

Thank you Dan for the thorough reply! My mistake, I thought it was $10.

Wow, I didn’t know the price of avocados went up so much. That completely makes sense to charge more for it now.

Regarding the coupons, yeah it’d be nice if you might consider ones that work at least on your website as well. Yes, it was frustrating being told they ‘should’ work.

Yes! The brookies! Sad to hear that. Thank you for sharing them while they were available.

Thank you for offering to buy me lunch and to discuss further. I might take you up on that sometime. 🙂 We...

Great food! Bit of an odd “rush you through” system of service. Seems like theyre used to large rushes of people/ orders however i brought a small group to eat here and try it out and we were not given very good answers or descriptions of the menu. It could be that the servers are a bit young so theres some intimidation for providing “the right” answer, rather than just speaking according to their knowledge, but we got through unscathed. Protein portions are quite small, however im not afraid to ask questions so upon asking if i could get an upcharge for 2 additional scoops of protein i was only then informed that they have 3 sizes: 2 scoops, 3 scoops, and 5 scoops of protein. I didnt see that on the menu and couldnt find it when i looked again. The food was quite good! Portion sizes (especially after increasing the protein amount) was fantastic, and the veggies and additions to the protein were smash hits! Very much appreciated the attention to flavor profile that the veggies were given and how well they complimented everything. Will definitely be back and recommend...

I want to love this place because the atmosphere is great and it seems like a cool Poke shop
and I’m trying to not sound annoying here, but as a vegetarian, when their website says it has cooked tofu as a protein option, I was excited to try. I used to eat meat and loved poke but just cannot tolerate. Anyway, I digress.. I’ve been here several times and to the Meridian village location, and their tofu is definitely NOT cooked, it’s raw soaking in water. Bland as all get out 😂 just not good, and no amount of sauce would make it appealing. I wouldn’t be as annoyed if their website didn’t list tofu under “cooked proteins”. I mentioned it to the girl working there and she basically shut me down, not sure if they could fry it up, like their chicken or whatever, but it was annoying. And idk what I even paid for the bowl, but over $10 for sure, seems like a lot for a bowl of rice and a few sprinklings of veggies and sauces đŸ€Ł ok I’m...
