Such a bummer. We used to be regulars since they opened but their steep price increases have made it unattainable to go anymore except for special occasions.
For example, the Fiesta Bowl used to be $10 for a small. Now, itâs $15 and it no longer includes avocado. So to get the same bowl it was, it costs $16 ($1 extra for avocado).
Regardless of the 60% price increase, we feel itâs way too expensive for what you get. âčïž
For some reason the smell inside usually isnât pleasant so weâve never dined inside. Itâs nice they upgraded their outdoor patio, but unfortunately it isnât covered enough from the blaring sun.
One super annoying thing is the coupons they offer only work in store. Weâve never successfully used them online, despite being told numerous times that it should work.
Food is fresh and absolutely delicious! The flavor profiles are amazing. Employees are usually friendly. The brookies they cross-sell are the best weâve ever had, though we donât know if theyâre selling them anymore.
EDIT
Thank you Dan for the thorough reply! My mistake, I thought it was $10.
Wow, I didnât know the price of avocados went up so much. That completely makes sense to charge more for it now.
Regarding the coupons, yeah itâd be nice if you might consider ones that work at least on your website as well. Yes, it was frustrating being told they âshouldâ work.
Yes! The brookies! Sad to hear that. Thank you for sharing them while they were available.
Thank you for offering to buy me lunch and to discuss further. I might take you up on that sometime. đ We...
Read moreGreat food! Bit of an odd ârush you throughâ system of service. Seems like theyre used to large rushes of people/ orders however i brought a small group to eat here and try it out and we were not given very good answers or descriptions of the menu. It could be that the servers are a bit young so theres some intimidation for providing âthe rightâ answer, rather than just speaking according to their knowledge, but we got through unscathed. Protein portions are quite small, however im not afraid to ask questions so upon asking if i could get an upcharge for 2 additional scoops of protein i was only then informed that they have 3 sizes: 2 scoops, 3 scoops, and 5 scoops of protein. I didnt see that on the menu and couldnt find it when i looked again. The food was quite good! Portion sizes (especially after increasing the protein amount) was fantastic, and the veggies and additions to the protein were smash hits! Very much appreciated the attention to flavor profile that the veggies were given and how well they complimented everything. Will definitely be back and recommend...
Read moreI want to love this place because the atmosphere is great and it seems like a cool Poke shop⊠and Iâm trying to not sound annoying here, but as a vegetarian, when their website says it has cooked tofu as a protein option, I was excited to try. I used to eat meat and loved poke but just cannot tolerate. Anyway, I digress.. Iâve been here several times and to the Meridian village location, and their tofu is definitely NOT cooked, itâs raw soaking in water. Bland as all get out đ just not good, and no amount of sauce would make it appealing. I wouldnât be as annoyed if their website didnât list tofu under âcooked proteinsâ. I mentioned it to the girl working there and she basically shut me down, not sure if they could fry it up, like their chicken or whatever, but it was annoying. And idk what I even paid for the bowl, but over $10 for sure, seems like a lot for a bowl of rice and a few sprinklings of veggies and sauces đ€Ł ok Iâm...
