Plato's Closet — Local services in Nampa

Buying process before opening week was seamless and they bought a lot more than other places which was awesome. I brought in 2 big bins and they gave me $145 for 30+ items. However, I’m not sure if it they will continuously buy like that now the store is open. One positive is they have a bathroom unlike the other Plato’s closet which is a major plus! Reason I dropped it 2 stars because the store is too small for bigger crowds especially on weekends. They only have 4 fitting rooms since it’s a tighter space so if it’s busy you’ll be waiting 15-20+ minutes. I did notice they let 2 girls into a fitting room and they were just talking the whole time. So quite surprised they let 2 people in, but if it works for the company then great. The rows can’t fit 2 people back to back shopping, so ’d recommend not going on weekends for this reason or busy hours! Lastly, they have a small selection of...

I had a really great experience here! As of right now, they’re open for buying to build inventory as they’re a new store. I personally visit almost every consignment store in the valley at least once a month (Uptown Cheapskate, Plato’s in Boise, etc). I brought it 6 bags which was awesome because you can normally bring in about two. I must of had close to 200 items. They ended up take about 40 for cash value of about $100. And honestly I was super happy with it. I left with four bags still of my clothing items (which is fair since I know some of those things were winter items) and I’m very excited to see what they have when they’re open for retail.
