Seeing the name “Jockey” got me instantly excited for the brand recognition of one of my favorite retail stores to date, which is why I was so extremely discouraged when I went in to this place and encountered an associate named Kai, who said some extremely rude and disrespectful things to me as a guest, not to mention some of the horrendous customer interactions he had that I was unfortunate enough to overhear. He was extremely over the top, overbearing, and intrusive on my consumer experience while I was just trying to enjoy my shopping day down on 12 South.
The first time I went there I had such an incredible experience with the wonderful live music they had and being welcomed by a smile from Alexis, with a clear desire to help me discover how Cooper’s by Jockey could meet my retail needs.
I cannot see a version of Cooper’s that thrives while employing people like Kai, and I hope to see them clean house of employees like that to make Cooper’s a necessary stop on the popular 12 South...
