This is THE place. I brought in my grandfathers banjo that I inherited after his passing, and it was in rough rough shape. Like, smelled like tobacco, bits were broken or askew, covered in dust so thick the instrument was gray. Firstly, I call beforehand and the lady on the phone was SO KIND, and told me to bring it on in for inspection. I show up and immediately they take a brief look at it and seemed very knowledgeable. They also let me know beforehand that 1) fixing it up may cost more than buying a new one and showed me a brief list of banjos I could purchase if I wanted and 2) let me know that if I do want it fixed up they will call me with a quote before doing any work. I felt totally safe and that my instrument was in great hands. So I give it to them, and they give me a call a couple weeks later with the final quote, and it was VERY reasonable and affordable. I was so elated because it feels like, today, everything breaks the bank- and I wanted to learn this instrument for the sentimental value AND to have an outlet to put my energy and have a better mindset- so to now have this instrument without it destroying my bank account means so much. I pick up the banjo- today- and it looks and sounds absolutely fabulous. Not a single thing wrong with it. I can’t wait to be the worlds best banjo player, thanks to Fanny’s. And a huge thank you to the entire team, they were all incredibly sweet, professional, and the process was very easy for me. Skip any Guitar Center and...
Read morewhere does one begin? I can honestly say my best experience at a guitar/music shop that I've ever had is here and it may be my best business experience ever! Let's start with the fact that every human that works there is awesome. They are patient, knowledgable, encouraging and true music lovers and spur others to create.
I can say I was a pain of a customer. I was back and forth and befuddled at times, visited without purchasing many times, bought and exchanged (please limit that if possible). They were beyond patient, understanding and remained positive and insisting I find the right guitar for my needs and creations.
I found the right fit for me thankfully for myself and them haha.
Their guitar selection is so cool and unique and with a range of cost, styles of guitars and intrigue.
Please make a visit with the idea to purchase and be mesmerized by the magic they create. They sell clothes as well as instruments.
I have no idea how they remained so patient and positive with me, I was irritated with myself. They should sell a guide to their self care routines because they are special people and are...
Read moreThis place is magical and I’m so happy I stumbled across it. (By “stumbled,” I mean I was looking up places to go in Nashville when passing through and heard Taylor Swift likes Fanny’s, and in Blondie we trust.)
We had the best greeting possible—a gorgeous puppy named Peanut who was this close to being stuffed in my tote bag and coming home with me. The young woman working was kind and welcoming; she gave us hand sanitizer and encouraged us to look around, and was enforcing masks with customers. There were good vibes from the minute we arrived.
The instruments and accessories were beautiful, and it was lovely having the soundtrack of people trying out guitars as we shopped. I loved the selection of female music artists. There were fun and interesting vintage clothing picks, and I was in love with the accessories—cute sunglasses, super cool earrings, fun stickers, and so so so much more. Plus, you can’t leave without a few Dolly items!
Please go support this shop. It exceeded my expectations and was a wonderful experience, and I can’t wait...
