This school is an absolute joke. If you’re considering the esthetics program, save yourself the time, money, and stress. The structure is a disaster, the leadership is nonexistent, and the students are the ones who pay the price.

I went through four different teachers during my time here. Two were fired and reported to state board. And in one of the most unprofessional moves I’ve ever seen, a previously terminated teacher was REHIRED because the school had “no one left to hire,” while the esthetics program itself was rumored to be shutting down. That should tell you everything you need to know about the state of this place.

The classrooms were completely unprofessional—teachers showing up late, focusing on personal drama instead of teaching, and even neglecting basic sanitation standards. When students raised concerns, they were brushed off or ignored. There was no accountability whatsoever.

The quality of education was equally alarming. At one point, a brow specialist with zero knowledge of waxing or esthetics procedures was put in charge of teaching. She attempted to perform a bikini wax on a student and had absolutely no idea what she was doing - literally picking hardened wax off the model while two classmates held the student’s hand in pain. This is not only unacceptable but dangerous, and it proves the school has no regard for safety or proper training standards.

The environment itself was out of control. Many students and STAFF were openly confrontational and unprofessional, with fights breaking out regularly. In the clinic, barber students would bang on the walls, yell across the floor, and cause constant disruptions, creating a chaotic atmosphere for anyone to attempt building relationships with outside clients. Leadership turned a blind eye, showing they had no control over their own student body.

On the administrative side, things were just as bad. State board scheduling was dragged out for weeks with no urgency, even when students’ careers were on the line. Communication was unreliable at best, nonexistent at worst. The message students received was clear: your future doesn’t matter here.

To make matters worse, the school dangled “opportunities” that had nothing to do with our education. One example: esthetics students were told they could gain hours by coming in on a weekend to do face painting for children. Not only does that have zero relevance to esthetics or licensing, but it also revealed the school’s real priority—making money and saving face in the community—rather than actually preparing students for their careers. Our limited time should have been spent learning, not being used as free labor for publicity.

What makes this even more insulting is that students who were committed and working hard outside of class—building clientele, creating professional content, and excelling beyond requirements—were labeled as “unmotivated” simply because leadership couldn’t take responsibility for their own failures.

After graduation, the head of the school, Micka refused to help me with my PSI account, which she and the front desk coordinator, Tanelia repeatedly locked for two weeks straight. She claimed she had “too many things to focus on,” yet in the rare time I was able to get ahold of her, she set timelines for herself that were never met. Within five minutes of being told that helping me post-graduation was “not in her contract,” I contacted PSI directly — and they resolved what the head of the school and her staff couldn’t manage to prioritize for two weeks. To make matters worse, students who graduated after me were given assistance while I was ignored.

This program has no stability, no leadership, and no respect for its students. It is run into the ground by incompetence, greed, and negligence. If you’re serious about esthetics, do not waste your time or money here. Find a school that values your education, because this one...

I was interested in nail tech school so I contacted them through email to ask about more information like pricing, schedule, etc. This man Matthew calls me on the phone and sets up an appointment so I can come in person. I came all the way to the school and they only have a schedule that starts at 8:30 am Monday-Friday for 5-7 months. Hopefully me providing this information saves someone else from a trip over here. That doesn’t work with my current work schedule and it’s information that could have been told over the phone so I didn’t waste my time coming in. Matthew was so pushy on the phone for me to come in person for an appointment and now I see why. Their school has horrible reviews, and they think they can use Matthew’s charm to persuade people in real life. It’s actually obscene that they wasted my time like this, and if they’re willing to waste people’s time upfront before actual enrollment I can’t imagine how much of people’s time they waste once actually in the program. They also had me give all my personal information over before this 30 second meeting which concluded that this school won’t work for me at all. They must be really desperate for students. They did not need to know anything about me like my address (thank God I didn’t give them my social) to let me know they’re schedule....

I would not reccomend going here for a slew of reasons, I have gone here for 2 plus years and have quite recently had issues with a teacher whom works here. I first started going here when o had large medical bills for cancer and didn't quite have the money to pay for a high end place to get my hair done. Now before I get started letting you know I do not go to school here I have just gont to get my hair styled here or flat ironed. That being said I love the people at the desk and the students are nice and have great conversation during my 2 hour hair escapade! But every time I say what I wanted and pay I have sat down in the chair 4 times and had the price go up every time, aside from the fact it used to be $10 for me getting my hair done and now it is $15. When I got anything dont to my hair including getting feathered after I got it straightened meant I was paying an additional amount for that. Which I would then be done getting my hair done and then have to go pay more money before I left!!! Not only would i not reccomend this place for your hair needs I would not reccomend this place for school either, but amidst this message if you do decide to go there, please let me know...
