I've visited this establishment 3 times now. The first time, it was good, but I noticed the Tzatziki sauce is watered down and quickly makes a mess of a pita pocket sandwich. (My total was $1 or so higher than anticipated based on the prices from the menu at our office, but I let it slide.) The second time, they were in such a hurry to get me out that my "cook to order" fries were not finished cooking. The fries were limp, soggy, and not any degree of golden brown. I also got a slice of cheesecake and my total was $13.26. (Menu says: $8.23 combo meal + $2.74 cheesecake + ~10% tax = $12.06. What's the other $1.20 from?) The third time I got the Gyro Platter and Baklava (Menu says: $8.99 + $1.69). My total at the register was $15 something. Whoa! He tells me the Baklava I pulled (from the impossible to reach dessert cooler without any posted signs or prices) is $4.99 because it has 2 pieces (small and tubular). But the other one (1 triangular piece) is $1.69. Both appear to be about the same size. I decided not to get any. I couldn't see the value behind the price either way. My total came to $9.99. Receipt says the pre-tax cost of my platter was $9.14, not $8.99. Not a big deal, I know, but didn't they recently acquire new owners and they're already increasing the menu prices without any notification? Their menus with outdated prices are still available on their counter today! The last disappointment... I asked for plastic silverware and they handed me a plastic silverware packet. When I go to use it, the packet has already been opened and the fork is gone. I have a spoon and knife. The food is good, no doubt, but I'm already tired of dealing with...
Read moreOff the bat, AMAZING customer service. Genuinely, I haven't experienced such nice people. As soon as I walk in, Mrs. Randa (hopefully I spelled her name right. She was managing the cashier) gave us the biggest smile and welcomed us in. And from there on out, we cracked up jokes, and she gave us some recommendations. There was another worker, I believe he was the owner of Music City Gyros (MCG), but I'm not entirely sure, who was nice as well. He came up to us and was telling us the back story of MCG and how they have this place where it's perfect for hangouts and events (Hunter Station). We were also given free drinks and baklava. They were truly such sweet people. That alone made me extremely happy, and I'd go back just to talk with them.
On to the food. The food was so good. The loaded fries were LOADED! Just by looking at it, I was full. I also got the mixed platter, and it was so scrumptious. My mom got the quesadilla, and she liked it very much. I can only give them 5 stars, but if I could, I'd give her 1,000,000 stars! I'm so glad it's close to my house. I'll definitely be back for sure (they have a lot of options that i...
Read moreToday I decided to try this place again after not going in for a couple of years. I paid $8.99 for a Gyro plate. The same men were behind the glass of the sandwich board and the one guy that prepares your plate was very friendly. I pointed out what I wanted and as he was preparing my plate to go the other man was watching him like a hawk with the portions. I thought really? I just paid $8.99 without a drink or fries. All I got was rice and meat. That man did not smile and was getting very irritated that the man was filling my to go plate and just kept watching him. Man, in my opinion people ( The Greek Deli buffet $10.50) for what you spend and not having another person lurking over the food preparer's shoulder is worth $10.50. Go to the buffet and get all you want with a drink. I will not go back to a place where somebody is lurking over a shoulder over proportions. That is pretty ridiculous! In another opinion of mine is the Greek Deli is so...
