DO NOT STAY HERE!! Went on a girls trip and stayed at the Nash House Hotel from May 2 - May 5, we would have loved to have left as soon as we checked in. After check in and requesting rooms next to each other at booking (booking site showed connecting rooms available) we were not only not in connecting rooms but on 2 different floors, and then realized the rooms actually have no connecting doors. Hop on the elevator to go to floors and not only was the ride jerky but the doors didn't open: first 2nd floor, doors don't open, nothing, next stop 5th floor, same thing. We hit floor 1 to go back down, go down and doors don't open, after calming down after a minute we think to try and press the open door button, thank fully that works, so up we go again. We had to push the door open button every time! Our 2 friends get off on the 2nd floor, and we head up to 5th, only for them to text us a minute later the room they were given was occupied. Stairs, because who wants a not 100% working elevator? The 1st floor stairwell door is locked!! Thankfully there was a door to go outside so they had to walk around the building (same thing happened to us the next morning, in the opposite stairwell). The next morning our friend got locked in her bathroom!!! Her roommate picked up the phone to call front desk, their phone didn't work. She didn't take her phone in the bathroom, what would have happened if she was by herself?? After 30 minutes staff finally got her out and while she stood there naked in a towel, not even an apology was given, just a, "this happens sometimes." We go about our day, we don't want to be in this hotel any more than we have to, so a day out; when we get back, our keys don't work, OH, they didn't set them for the entirety of our stay. While we were there we witnessed countless others get a run around, booking system going out AND no staff cared!! They would laugh when they heard us complaining, offered no apologies. So, when all this has gone wrong, we notice all the things that are wrong. No clean towels for our stay we got the 2 large towels for the 3 night stay, half a roll of toilet paper-no extra in the room, no do not disturb sign, the hot was cold and cold was hot my first shower and then weirdly not the next, AC was turned off upon arrival (friends room unplugged), there were liquid splatters on the head boards, no conditioner only shampoo, no coffee cups in room, the halls reeked of cigarette smoke, the stairwells smelled like pee and cigarette smoke, there were cigarette butts in the stairwell and when they were picked up the ashes left behind. Again, do not stay here. There are no added amenities to make this...
Read moreWalked in the place smelled like they had a gas leak. Asked the front desk if she smelled. She was nice enough and gave me room 503. She told me the elevator wasn't coming down to the 1st floor, but if I got my bags and waited by the elevator She would go up to the first floor and bring it down. They were working on getting it fixed. I got to my room and got situated and went to turn on the TV for background noise. No TV. Call down to the front desk. They put me in room 504. Move across the hall, no big deal. Go to take a shower, and the doors won't stay shut. They just roll open again and again beyond annoying. Went out for the night for my work dinner, come back, have to go across the hotel to the stairwell up to the 2nd floor, and then can take the elevator up from there. Annoying at best. The next morning, on my way to the conference, the elevator works to go down. Got in my car and remembered that I had forgotten something in my room. Go back in across the hotel to the stairwell up to the second floor back across the hotel to the elevator, and it does not work. Back to the stairwell up to the fifth floor. Get what I forgot and change out of my heals to flats because by now, I have a blister on my foot. Back to the stairwell with my hands and arms full, now running late. I am running down the stairs and getting to the third from the bottom step of the first floor and miss the step. I landed on my ankle, and it is truly a bad injury. I am on the ground in the stairwell and can not stand. Two different people look in the window, and no one comes. After about 10 minutes of agonizing pain, I get up, and start habling toward the front to get some ice, to tell the hotel what happened to try and figure out what I was going to do. I walked past one of the front desk people and told her what happened, and she looked at me with a blank stare. She says, "What do you want me to do?" I told her I needed some ice.
I get the rest of the way to the front desk, and I am sitting there about to black out from the pain, and the other front desk person just sits on their phone like nothing is wrong. About 15 minutes later, the first front desk person emerges and has some ice. She fills out a report and says that she is going to give it to her manager and the manager would call me. I have since gone to the doctor. I have several torn ligaments and have to wait for the swelling to go down before I know if surgery is necessary. The manager never called. I have called the hotel twice to talk to the manager, and she is conveniently on the phone and 'will call me back'. It's been a week, no call.

Had a quick weekend trip with some friends this past weekend. Upon opening our room door, we quickly discovered the front desk had assigned us to a room which was already occupied. After going back down to be re-assigned, the desk employee seemed familiar with this issue, but not concerned. Red Flag 🚩.The following morning, I get out of the shower only to realize the bathroom door (left unlocked) will not open. Yes, I literally became trapped in the bathroom. My friend was able to call down to the front desk. Just kidding. The phone didn’t work! Fortunately, my friend was able to head to the front desk to dispatch help. Two employees came in to slide me a door key so I could break myself out of the bathroom. Standing there in literally just a towel, Housekeeping casually admitted knowing “sometimes the doors do that” (???). 🚩🚩 When we needed extra towels there weren’t any (how?). Perhaps it is because housekeeping is too busy crunching on bags of Doritos while sitting in the hallway floors (factual event) rather than keeping house? The manager was conveniently always unavailable until we finally caught him cleaning rooms. He assured us we would be comped for the trouble and as you can guess, that never happened (shocker!). The elevator seemed really unsafe and several times we experienced the doors not opening properly. We took the stairs a lot and the stairwells smelled like literal urine and cigarettes. At one point we overheard frustrated guests trying to check in, but the hotel was “out of keys.” Again, how? 🚩🚩🚩
This hotel is so poorly staffed they should not be accepting reservations. If you find yourself enticed by the price point and their modern...
