(Kadijah is the reason) I came to this location & decided to order from the machine. It prompt you to ask the lady at front for the self filled cups. When we asked her she said they'll give it to us in the back. (We usually get them at front but it was fine, she was nice about it and had a smile) when I went to the back. I saw the lady's were busy so I decided to wait till one was closer and turned around. I proceeded to ask her (Kadijah) for the cup while we wait for the food. You know to prepare our drink and head out once we got our order. She looked annoyed & looked at the screen without saying anything to me & then asked me the name on the order. When she got the cup she said "you gotta wait till we get your other drinks" and walked away. I brushed it off & sat down while and waited for the food. I was on my phone, when I looked up my order was brought up. I got closer to & ask if the drink & the other cup was ours (there were other orders in the queue) one lady passed & I said "excuse me" she side eye me and kept walking then my mom said "excuse me" & side eye us looked like she wanted to ignores us but finally turned our to acknowledge us. (I would think, common sense if someone was seating down and gets closer to the kitchen area they have a question and the right call would've been "you need anything" even if some don't, just acknowledge) I asked her about the drink and she called the lady whom said to wait for all the drinks to be handed. She side eyed me and responded to her not even turning around to let us know as if we weren't there, as if we hadn't asked. & proceeded to look at the screen. She then, I guess noticed she had to acknowledge us and continue with "you have to fill this cup yourself" not making eye contact in an annoyed tone.. I asked her for her name as we got all of our stuff & she looked at one of her coworkers & turned around with an irritated attitude. So I asked her if I heard right her name. And she in a low tone said yes. All this time without making eye contact w us... I'm not sure why she was so aggravated from the very beginning. If she probably had a rough start w another client but I don't take it out on my clients & I don't appreciate it when others do. I've never had any issue with any of the employees & I even apologize when I take long to order but I'm grateful to those who are humane & understanding. When I walked away the lady who at the beginning told me to ask for it was seating down & told me to have a nice day w the same smile from the beginning & was there when I had...
Read moreI stopped into to the Donelson Panera Bread last night, October 19, and purchased an Asian chicken salad, the large one. I got home, put it in the refrigerator, and at 7:45 pm, took it out to eat for my dinner. As soon as I took the lid off, I smelled a very pungent odor. At first I thought it might be the sauce, but soon realized it was a rancid salad. The chicken was bad, the arugula was not fresh. I asked my fiance to smell it and he wholeheartedly agreed, and told me to return it. This morning, around 10:00 am, I took the salad out of the refrigerator, put it back in their bag with the receipt, and went back to Panera Bread, at 620 Royal Parkway, in Donelson. The young man at the counter was very kind, went to get the manager, and while waiting for the manager, offered me a free treat, which I declined, but thought was a lovely gesture. The Manager came out and I explained the situation. He became very defensive, immediately telling me that I was smelling the arugula, without actually smelling the salad. When I asked him to smell it, he insisted that it was the arugula again and that I was just "dissatisfied with the salad." He was arrogant, argumentative, and rude. He gave me my money back and very sarcastically told me to "have a great day." I was aghast, and told him I would be in touch with the Health Department, so that this store will be more diligent about the "freshness" of their food they sell, and prevent anyone from getting food poisoning. This manager has no people skills, and should not be in a...
Read moreIf I could give this location a BIG FAT NEGATIVE STAR, zero, etc., I would!! I have been to this location 3 times since it's opened and have yet to be able to order any food. First of all, the drive-thru is created in such a way that once you pull in, you cannot leave the line. You will have to back out if no one is behind you. Why is that important? Well, because two out of my three visits I've stopped at this Panera to order a PLAIN BAGEL at approximately 8:15 am (breakfast time); either they did not have any bagels at all (Bread Company...yeah right) or did not have plain ones. The first time this happened, I was able to back out of the drive-thru without having to wait in line behind the other cars. Well, today, I had to wait over 15 minutes in line behind other cars without even having placed an order because I was stuck. (eg. 2 visits, no food). On another visit to this location (during lunch time), I was in line for 10 minutes and was still 3 cars back before I would have reached the order speaker. Fortunately, the car behind me backed out so I was able to back out as well. No one has 20-30 minutes to wait in line for a simple soup or sandwich on their lunch break!
This location already needs a new staff and...
