Roma Pizza & Pasta — Restaurant in Nashville-Davidson

My morning started out rough. My son rode with me to take my sister to the airport and he kept complaining the whole ride how he was starving for McDonald’s. So after we drop her off, I pull over to gather my sanity. My son asks if that sign says pizza and if we can grab some. Well, it’s not McDonald’s so cool. When I say this pizza turned everything around, MAN. We pull in, the parking lot looks a little rough. I’m praying it’s decent food for the price. I’m a single mom so my budget has to stretch. We walk up to the counter and the gentleman at the counter tells me about their $8.99 carry out special. Great, $10 for a 2 topping pizza is good with me. He says about 10 minutes to cook, cool, we’ll go play outside. This man brings the pizza to the car with 2 plates and napkins. He didn’t have to bring it to us but bless him for not letting it sit around. My son is a super picky eater, his side is cheese only. When I say the cheese pulls were everything... my son was laughing so hard because I was struggling to keep the strings on the slice. Tell them I will have my legal counsel look into libel charges against you for the personal attack you have made against me online. I merely shared my experience with your restaurant. Your offensive comments about my character are uncalled for and insulting.

Update: Responding to the insulting response by Roma with some updated pics. First of all, we did contact Uber when you accused the driver of stealing. They said that it’s your issue since there was obviously never a pizza in the box. Secondly, insulting me personally because you have subpar service merely confirms the veracity of my initial review. Lastly, check out the pic of a Roma pizza box WITH the slit in it.

Such a horrible experience. Received an empty box instead of the white pizza we ordered and paid for. When discovered we called the store. The store owner claimed that the Uber driver stole the pizza we ordered. Please note that the pizza box is clean - no greasy Roma pizza was ever in the box. We recently ordered the Pasta Dinner for Two special from Roma Pizza & Pasta, which includes two pastas of your choice, two salads, and breadsticks. The delivery arrived in a timely manner, but despite our request for it to be delivered to our room, the driver had the front desk call us to come down to the lobby to pick it up. He was friendly, but this was inconvenient.

The portion sizes were generous, which was a positive aspect. However, the experience had several drawbacks. I requested French dressing for my salad but received honey mustard instead. The salad included peppers and onions, which some might enjoy, but I did not, and the lettuce didn’t seem fresh. The salad could’ve had more variety as well.

The chicken parm was just okay; it had a strange aftertaste and was made with chicken strips rather than a proper cutlet. It was also dry and needed more sauce, even though I had requested extra sauce. The breadsticks, on the other hand, were quite good.

Overall, while the delivery was prompt and the breadsticks were enjoyable, the errors with the order and the quality of the other items made it a...
