My husband and I (who are very picky with hotels) were very pleased with our stay here. The guy who was at the desk when we checked in (I think his name might have been John, but Iâm not sure) was very welcoming and thorough in telling us about the hotel and was even able to let us check in early (our flight arrived a couple of hours before official check in time). The hotel is new and clean. Our room was clean and the shower and bathroom were nice. My husband and I also used the gym daily. My one disappointment was that I like to cycle but the only two bikes in the gym are Pelaton bikes and if you do not have a Pelaton membership you cannot use the bikes so I ended up having to use the treadmill and the elliptical which are not my preferred ways to work out. I would suggest either getting a third non Pelaton bike, or having a Pelaton membership for the hotel signed into the Pelaton bikes so that guests can still use the bikes. Two of the front desk staff employees were much more friendly than the other two, but still no complaints there. We felt comfortable at this hotel and comfortable sleeping here. I will mention for anyone that is a light sleeper, that you do hear the planes when they fly over the hotel but it was not enough to bother my husband and I and we slept fine, even when we took a nap during the day. When you walk through the parking lot, if a plane is going over it is VERY loud, but I imagine that is the case at all of the airport hotels. The only major issue we had during our stay was that on the weekend there was not enough parking. One day we came back from dinner and there were zero spaces available in the parking lot and cars were parked all over the place, in the street and in places that were not actual parking spots. We ended up having to park at the hotel next door, alllll the way at the far end of that other hotelâs lot. My husband was so frustrated that he actually wanted me to leave a negative review for that reason, but I still felt the good things about the hotel outweighed that one big issue with the parking. At check out I mentioned that parking issue to the guy at the desk and he said there was some mixup with cars who are allowed to park in the lot as airport parking and too many spots were accidentally sold as airport parking. Hopefully that issue is resolved now. Other than that, we were very pleased. The hotel and our room were clean and we enjoyed our stay. The price was also very reasonable compared with comparable rooms in other hotels in the...
Read moreVery clean and modern hotel. Parking was good. Really like that police vehicle drove around at night to check parking lot. Was initially nervous before arrival we saw online that there was a problem with people breaking into cars near hotel airports. This put us at ease and felt like hotel was being proactive. Love that tv gave options to log into Netflix and Amazon and ability to clear your info at end of stay. Also liked that tv could be tilted for convenience of viewing. Room was spacious and had microwave and frig with definitely a plus. Bed was comfy and gave enough pillows. Like the lighting in room near bed and options to turn off specific lights. Window shades were really nice. Love the double shades to keep sun out when needed and privacy. Also great no carpeting in room just wood flooring. Workout room and pool were both nice. Would have love to see more elliptical machines in workout room. Wish the pool stayed open at least 1hr later on weekend. Like that they offer shuttle to airport and around area. Wish less expensive to take downtown. Liked that there were cameras for safety in hallway and around hotel. Liked that gave us welcome bag but unfortunately only gave 1 for 2 people. Didn't know if that was a mistake and they just forgot we had 2 people in room.
The lighting in bathroom is terrible (white & dim) for women putting on makeup or skincare. Very dim and the blower is connected with light switch so it would be better if not connected to avoid sound being on continuously with light on. There were a couple of spots in bathroom that need attention-counter dark ring not sure if rust or dirt and also at top of shower wall spots. Would suggest offering makeup remover wipes rather than towel more sanitary. More towel hooks/racks to hang our towels and offer plastic cups in bathroom and maybe hand soap. Wish free hot breakfast was offered and better snack station. Coffee/tea maker did not work. Also wish they had infused water stations in lobby for guests. Other hotels offer lemon/fruit water in lobby which is really nice especially hot days. The Airplanes flying over hotel were very noisy. Interrupted sleep a couple of times. Also wish there was more info in the room regarding room service, shuttle service, hours for workout, pool, breakfast and Nashville attractions and no instructions provided on how to connect music on bathroom mirror, etc. Room price was reasonable. Overall felt safe and comfortable at hotel and enjoyed our stay. Would...
Read moreNOT the best experience from check-IN to check- OUT!!! Dirty sheets with hair in them in the first room. Called front desk and a lady came to verify that what I was saying was true.
I moved to another room and the bed was dirty again - this time the pillow cases were dirty.
All of this occurred on the first day of my stay.
2nd day I went to front desk and asked to have my room clean and was told it would be no problem. When I got back to my room it still hadnât been cleaned. I called front desk and they gave me a hard time saying they didnât have a request and that it was too late to have the room cleaned. I asked to speak to a manager and told her I was unhappy with the quality of service Iâve received. She got defensive and said the hotel has won two awards and this has never happened before. After listening to her make excuses I realized she didnât have strong customer service skills and asked if my room could be cleaned and she sent a crew of 3 to clean it.
At check out I went to the front desk and asked one of the sisters (there are two sisters work there) to make sure I get my points for the stay. She proceeded to give me a hard time saying I wasnât a choice member even though I am and they acknowledged it during check in. I showed her my account but she said it wasnât in there. I asked if she could set me up a new account so that I could at least get my points since my stay wasnât the best and she said she couldnât set me up a new account because I was already a member. HA! I really felt like I was in the twilight zone. I couldn't believe this was happening almost as if I was being picked with. She said she would call me later to sort out me getting my points. While I was on the road I called the hotel to check her eta on when the points would be applied to my account and she told me she was busy and would get to it when she got to it. I asked her if she was trying to be rude and that she was acting like I wasnât a paying customer or as if Iâve done something wrong. She was talking to me as if I was bothering her or stopping her from doing her job when part of her job is to ensure customer satisfaction. I am totally disappointed in the quality of service I received and will not patronize this location again.
*I was contacted by the GM a couple of weeks ago who promised me addâl points for my horrendous experience and I have yet to...
