Overcharged on a credit card purchase for snacks by about $3.

Bought the following: a 12 oz can of soda (no free ads).

Two bags of 1 ounce chips (labeled 2/$1 by manufacturer)

And a piece of candy (taffy).

Cashier said the taffy was $1.79 (elsewhere it's a dollar, but that's fine, in just mentioning for reference).

So the pretax total should've been $3.79

Right?

Now they say they charge an additional 20% or 20 cents (sign on the table at register) for credit or debit purchases under $5.

In either case, that doesn't make up the difference, with the final charge being $6.72

I wish this was the first market (corner store) to have major charge discrepancies in Nashville, but it's not. It send indicative of the people working there, they just have very light regard for people they think they vac take advantage of, and that's not just sad (ie for those with limited mobility in the neighborhood who they are essentially robbing on a daily basis) but it's also just plain pathetic.

If you can't operate a business honestly then you honestly need to quit or be put out...

The place has an appeal that is friendly and clean..while promoting music as is a natural state of mind while visiting Nashville .far more neighborly than the Broadway scene! Music performances up and down the street have been very uplifting but still miss my 93.7 nature coast FM radio station down in Inglis, Florida, and the live performances of those Country stars I love to stream with who have own up the record charts relentlessly! I miss these few people their but ready to move to Tennessee...maybe up on top of a mountain si I can play my music with God and spread peace and harmony all over this Earth!! I walked into the store call the gentleman and amigo which is friend in my language I need bust out with that's him racist stuff to say to be honest the only races there is the attendant I strongly recommend if you are of color or Hispanic dissent to watch yourself in the store you are clearly not wanted here The sad part is I am born in America which makes me American like him it is so sad and disappointing one fellow Americans are racist against...
