Wish I could give zero stars, but I recently dropped an arm and a leg on Habit hand tied extensions, installed by Holly, (if you aren’t familiar with the cost, they’re about $1250-$1800 depending) and was everything but happy/satisfied. I reached out to Holly and explained my concerns, as well as asked for a follow up appointment. My concerns were brushed off lightly, she did not seem to care, as I had made the biggest investment in my hair as I’ll probably ever make. Instead of offering me a follow up appointment, she told me she can just remove my $1,750 extensions that she put in, which is absolutely not reasonable. She states, “we always want our clients happy,” but that is not the case! Holly doesn’t care about you as a client, or your hard earned money, and I have never felt so disrespected by a stylist. No one should literally have to cry over their hair. I decided to take my business elsewhere and I hope you do too. Think before coming here for Habit hand tied extensions and making that much of an investment! And I will add that I have a friend who came for the hand tied extensions, installed by Holly as well, who did not have any issues I was having with the installation/placement of mine. Though it was my first time with Habit hand tied extensions, I am very familiar with the method.

EDITING TO ADD on July 25th, 2021 Why are you responding TWO years later? I have no idea what you are talking about. Do you even have the right client? My HUSBAND wouldn’t have called you demanding anything. That is not who he is, but nice try. I had concerns after the extensions were put in THAT DAY I GOT HOME, because they were entirely too tight, I asked for them to be fixed and you told me you could take them out after spending almost $2,000 on them, instead of offering to take a look at them. I have been going to Holly for years and have recently used for habit hand tied extensions. I have fine textured hair and Holly knows exactly the right application method and amount of hair that I can tolerate to keep my natural hair healthy. She also presented me with care instructions especially during the summer to keep my extensions & my own hair healthy. If I ever have any issues, she answers my questions promptly and/ or fixes whatever is needed for me to keep my extensions looking great.

For me, extensions are super low maintenance because I only have to wash 1 or 2 times per week and my styling lasts for days! This has reduced the amount of heat I’m putting on my hair significantly. Also, as with any hair, heat protectant is super crucial!!!

As with any investment, you do need to take care of it. The hair isn’t attached to your scalp so it doesn’t get the benefit of all those oils so you need to make sure to nourish your extension hair. I use oil multiple times a day and do a conditioning treatment once a week. You also have to brush brush brush making sure to hold at the top to not cause any unneeded tugging or pulling. This also helps from any of your natural hair getting matted or caught up in your extensions. T

Holly at pure salon is the only person I will trust with my hair. I have been going to Holly for at least 6 years now and have never been disappointed with my experience when I’m in her chair. About a year ago I decided to try hand tied extensions for the first time. Holly was very knowledgeable, answered all of my questions and made sure to educate me on the proper care for the extensions. She even gave me an instruction sheet for how to care for the extensions. With the proper care my extensions have lasted me well over a year. Needless to say I have LOVED my extensions and never had any issues with them. Holly is always more than happy to accommodate me with scheduling appointments and everyone at the salon is always professional and friendly.
