Lavou lounge — Restaurant in Nashville-Davidson

I went here last night with my brother and some coworkers. I’d be remiss if I didn’t give this place a 5 star rating.

From the outside I didn’t expect much because it looks small. With that said, once inside the space is larger than it appears. Security was tight, they had three big dudes that looked like they could hang of stuff got out of hand. I spoke to the bartender who was attentive and she explained the process to me in detail. My party and I retrieved a stage section and were professionally informed by the server that we are required to spend $100 to sit in that area which was great for me as most places charge for the area and the drinks and it’s more than that. That was a plus for me.

The crowd was between 21 and 37, mostly women. The DJ was extremely versatile. It’s a hip hop vibe but he spread out the mix between different types of hip hop which is rare for a DJ to be honest. The drinks were inexpensive(in my opinion, please don’t raise the prices lol) and the they were mixed well not watered down. They were even running a champagne special that night with the sparklers presentation.

Last but not least, my server was great. I don’t remember her name, but she had short blond hair. She was professional, attentive yet fun at the same time. She catered to our table without hassling for tips. She treated us with respect. Customer service and attitude is everything for me when I spend any money even if it’s 1 dollar.

I get this all the time because I write well in my reviews, but this is not fake at all. These folks just know how to treat an out of towner like family. If I didn’t acknowledge it I’d be hating. I will definitely be back when I’m in Nashville and I will recommend this to my friends and business associates when this type of vibe is required. Y’all did a good...

I was asked to leave a review and when I do they are thorough. Me and my friend came across a flyer for the club and decided to stop by. We got there before 12 parking was great and no charge. We received complimentary wine at the door it was actually really good but they don’t sell wine bottles so that may have been just for the event. They have nice size sections but it seems they have no actual dance floor. The Dj!!!!!! Whew I know I lost 5 pounds last night! The music selection was fire! I love how they switch it up with the R&B to the HipHop to Rap and even afrobeats! I didn’t even plan to stay the whole night but we did! I just didn’t wanna leave lol. We shared a african dish that was really delicious. Wish they had more options for sides they only had fries. The restroom was better than most clubs but there was no attendant present. They have hookah but they only had a small amount of flavors available. What I wanted was out. Again I danced allll night long! With strangers and all it was just a great vibe. Even the security was jigging in the club and i’ve never seen that before if you know what I mean. I danced so much my wig was coming off lol it was hot in there!!!! I saw no fans it is still winter but you would’ve never known in there! Overall I had a blast!!! I will definitely be going back on a Saturday!!!! See...

My girlfriend and I had never been here before but our friend was DJing so we came out to support him. When we arrived, bouncers outside were friendly, checked our IDs, and let us in. As soon as we stepped in the door, there was a small table with a woman who said it was $20 cover each. However, the Lavo Lounge Instagram posted a story earlier that evening that said "NO COVER ALL NIGHT." Even the DJ event flyer had no mention of cover. We reluctantly paid the $20 each and got wristbands to enter since we came from about 30 minutes away and didn't want to turn back right away. When we stepped into the club and walked to the bar to order drinks, there wasn't a single bartender behind the bar. We stood near the bar for at least 10 minutes before we finally saw a bartender appear. A bartender eventually came over to us and asked if we wanted anything to drink, but at this point we were hesitant to even stay at a place with service this atrocious. Shortly thereafter, we decided to leave. To top it off, as we were walking out the front door, we saw the woman working the entry table put wristbands on a group of 3-4 people without having them pay. Overall...
