Torrid — Local services in Nashville-Davidson

This is my favorite clothing store in opry mills mall. I frequent here and always have a great experience. Always greeted when I come in, I get helped finding different styles, and my items are always taken to the dressing room. I went this past Friday night and this particular experience led me to leave a 5 star review. I was by myself but had my baby stroller with me, while I was shopping a sweet lady came up to me and was talking to me about different styles, said hello to my baby, and took my stuff to the dressing room. When I went in I noticed she placed me in the handicap dressing room to have room for my stroller. That detail is so nice and appreciated. I came out and asked her to help me find some similar styles, she was busy but managed to balance helping me and another person. I checked out and she said her name was Lynn. It was a 5 star experience and I definitely will be back.

I’ve shopped for so long at this store regardless of the prices. Yesterday I went in to return a pants and a vest brand new I just tried them on at home and did not like so I brought them in a few days later. Tammy the lady who assisted me said they smelled musty and if the smell didn’t air out I wouldn’t be able to return. Keep in mind they did not smell musty what she was smelling was the leather smell from my back pack. She refused to first take my number at first a lot of back and fourth between email receipt and phone number for no reason👃 🤔 I’d honestly save your time and not go to this store. There has always been problems with hours opening and closing but I’ve never had an issue since stuff was nice until now. The staff has been completely changed SMH Torrid do better it’s not like this Is Walmart we pay for the lowest $70 jeans and $30 tanks we should be able to have a pleasant shopping experience. the staff here is nice but the biggest issue I have is that you never know if the store is open. You cant go by their listed hours. sometimes they are open and sometimes I drive out there and they are closed. their store hours are inconsistent and it seems like maybe they have staffing issues. I recommend calling before making the drive out there to the store (assuming they answer). I'd they are closed it should be posted on the social media or hours updated.
