I wanted to order a bubble tea yesterday, BUT the manager refuse service. Here is what happened. This company has a touch pad next to the register. I thought it was there to look at the menu options and all the bubble tea options. I prefer to look at the iPad since my eyesight is not great and couldn't see the menu board very well. Anyway, I was there for no more than 3 mins. While I was looking over the menu, I noticed the manager behind the counter had an angry face . The whole atmosphere was tense and employees look like they feared her and walking on eggshells. That's not really my problem, but as a previous restaurant owner myself, that is not how you want lead, unless you want a turn over every week. Anyhow, when I was ready to order, I got off the iPad, the manager said in a disrespectful tone, "you need to order on the iPad if you were using it" and I was like, why? "those are rules" she replied. Mind you there was no signs anywhere stating that. So, because my husband did not have a chance to look at the menu due to the fact that he was taking care of the baby. I told him for us to switch and to order at the register. This Mananger went ballistic and raising her voice at my husband. "If you look at the iPad, you need to order there, we have the right to refuse service".. My husband was like ma'am I didn't look at the Ipad. She was like "you know what you can't order anything with us" "you can go now"... this lady was raging, at some point I thought she must of been possed by a demon because who acts like that infront of customer and passerby. We're in a mall not at the hood or Macdonalds. It was pretty embarrassing and clearly that manager needs therapy. To conclude, #1 have some cameras at your store, #2 have a sign saying if you touch the iPad, you have to order from the Ipad. Also, don't place the Ipad next to the register since it blocks the next person in line. Or place it on a tablet stand holder on the left hand side to avoid misunderstanding and getting scream at by a manager. #3 hire people who don't have...
Read moreI pass by this bubble tea shop often when I've walked around the mall, and this is the second time I've tried it. Just as the times before it wasn't memorable and I regrettably had the misfortune of having an upset stomach after drinking their london fog latte. It made me feel so ill after I drank it and I didn't love the taste either (too sweet and just tasted like milk) so I only got halfway through before I felt nauseas. One concern my group had is that when we were ordering on the kiosk (everything is cashless and run through the kiosk) the tip screen would flash and not let us tip the workers making the drinks. We all wanted to give a tip though the kiosk didn't offer/let us do so. There was a small tip jar next to the kiosk though you're out of luck if you're not carrying cash. The tip jar had barely anything in it and I feel like people barely would notice it. It's just strange being a cashless establishment and then having a cash only tip jar. This is unfortunate because I am concerned the people here are not being compensated properly. Anyways all these culminating factors made all of my friends and I not want to...
Read moreSo, I rarely ever leave reviews. But save your time and money, and go somewhere else for bubble tea.
All I got was the classic milk tea with Boba and there was zero flavor to the drink. There was way too much milk, & the Boba was still hot when it was put into the drink, so it was lukewarm, flavorless milk with a tiny splash of tea. When I informed the workers of this and asked if I could have something different, they were less than helpful and informed me that they would have to charge me again for a new drink if I wanted something different.
Correct me if I’m wrong, but if a customer is not happy with the drink or item that they ordered, they should be able to have it replaced with something else without having to be charged again. Especially after having maybe two sips. Because that’s how it works at most every other dining establishment.
Anyway, won’t be back. There are so many better options for bubble tea in Nashville. Only giving two stars because my friend’s drink and experience seemed to be...
