Boot Barn — Local services in Nashville-Davidson

My boyfriend and I were on vacation here in Nashville and I was wanting to buy some new dress boots so we decided to go to Boot Barn and check it out to see what they had to offer. We are from Missouri so we are use to driving 45 min to PFI so I guess we just have really high standards for boot/western stores. When we entered the Boot Barn and not one person acknowledged we had entered the store. Not one Hi or Hello or even wlecome to Boot Barn how can we help you today. While shopping my boyfriend ended up leaving momentarily to go use the restroom and when he returned yet again no hi or hello or any acknowledgement at all. We were in the store for a good 45 minuets and during this whole time I was looking at boots and not one single employee approached my and asked if I needed help looking for anything or if I was looking for something in particular. But yes I did need help and yes I was looking for something in particular but of course they wouldnt have known that because not one time did anyone even approach or even SPEAK to my boyfriend or I! Needless to say I will not be returning home with a nice pair of boots that I purchased on our awesome Nashville vacation but instead I will just go back to the same western store that I always go to when we get back home where the customer is never neglected. Charlie was kind, genuine, patient, knowledgeable, and had great recommendations. We were visiting down from Mississippi. He helped me purchase my wife’s first exotic boot and I also purchased my first lighter leathered boots. He explained maintenance, suggested insoles that we did purchase to allow us to find comfort in the boots. I have been having foot pains and he suggested a different type of insole. Upon arrive we walked past 3 associates and they did not speak and I walked to the back of the store. Charlie came and found me and asked if I needed anything and made us feel comfortable and at home. His knowledge and hospitality is unmatched and he was completely honest. Being in Nashville and needing a new pair of boots coincided so I visited Boot Barn here in Opry Mills. The store is clean and fully stocked with something for everyone, it was even a little overwhelming at first. The staff was very friendly and helped me with advice on a boot style I have not worn before. I would definitely recommend visiting if you need a great pair for a great price.

Edit: I had an issue with the pair of boots I purchased. When you wear steer skin, no two boots are ever identical. One boot was swollen and loose well beyond the other and had a faded color after a few days. I revisited the store and Greg, the manager, went above and beyond to help me.
