Ive read alot of misleadong reviews and ones that seem like they could use an explanation. So first of all, there is no shady business, we dont overcharge people. Their are signs that say either fried rice/noodles is .50 extra because the setup for the plate and the food your able to get is already determined for the price of what your getting. However if the noodles or friend rice which cost more to sell than white rice and mixed vegetables does then yes youll pay .50 more.
The two entree combo is only for the chickens already cooked and displayed on the steam table. You can choose two different kinds and the compatible sides are mixed veggie steam rice. Choose two chickens out of the 4 bourbon, orange, spicy, or black pepper.
Two entree combo is not part of anything cooked on the grill. Teriyaki dishes are their own combo including shrimp, chicken, and beef teriyaki. Each dish cost different and more than the two entree combo. Chicken itself is cheaper than shrimp and beef which is expensive. The shrimp we sell is almost 9$ a pound which probably deals abt 15-20 peoces of shrimp per order.
The sides for either shrimp, beef, or chicken teriyaki are the same for the two entree combo charging the extra .50 for rice and noodles.
Also, do not ask us to put everything in seperate containers if you ask us to do that we will charge you for seperate side orders you will not get the combo price for everything seperated...
Read moreNO NO NO. That's how I feel about my experience and if I will go back or reccomend. First, I get charged and noticed it's about $4 more than the food I ordered. So, I look at my bill and noticed I'm charged for a kids entree when I only ordered the two entree plate with an additional side for $1.99. What followed after me explaining that I was overcharged is what was extremely upsetting. I handed the receipt to the cashier, Fredy. He then shoved it back at me and put his head down in silence like he was refraining from getting disrespectful. Then he had an exchange of words with the person who put my food together, where I then again had to explain I NEVER ordered a kids meal. The 2nd person then got a smirk and started getting an attitude. So, I stated instead of just refunding the kids entree, to refund the entire amount just for their attitudes. A 3rd guy walked up to the register, got a quick explanation from the cashier, and then handed me my cash without another word. From food handler, to cashier, to management... THIS TREATMENT WAS EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL AND UNACCEPTABLE. It could have been easily resolved, especially since it was their error. Watch what they charge you, and then watch how they treat you when they're corrected....
Read moreThe bourbon chicken was good but taste old. I had the bourbon chicken at the Cajun and it too fatty. I had a few issues the price is real high I guess it being in a mall and the bourbon chicken was real dry. The portion size is ok but paying over 13 dollars i should have got way more bourbon chicken. The white rice was under cooked too.
Update: I tried to give this place another shot. I wish I didn’t. It went from 2 stars now 1. The bourbon meat was very fatty and I asked for a sample which was good but I would say about 95 percent of the meat was fatty and not chewable. The portions was so small for what I paid for and the rice is still the same overcooked. The price is way overpriced I’m surprised they’re still in business. I had to throw it away because I couldn’t eat the fatty meat. Well I will never go back again...
